    1. Momentum. Small wins consistently.
    2. Integration. Taking in what you have done.
    3. Feedback. Feedback from people you love
    4. Priming. Affirmations or things to change your state. To get you into the zone. You generate these emotions consistently
    5. Love. Love yourself.

I never had anyone believe in me, and when you were saying good job kid. It kind of made me feel happy like someone validated the effort I make towards my anxiety

I know that feeling , what I came to realize the most important thing is to believe in yourself and zone out of disbelievering thoughts, there's always a new resistance form people around us once we start changing anything or doing the way we think is the best, but every time when I take radical acceptance on who I am and what I do people are starting to catch up with that vibe and one way or another I see reflection of support I give to myself in others. However I'm super grateful for Brendon too and I always feel huge gratitude for the encouragement and real change he gives to my life.
Keep doing what you're doing I'm sure you're awesome and you're doing a great job 👍🏻 You're not alone

I learnt to accept/believe the good things people say about me, not just the bad things. I realised it didn't make sense to believe the negative things people said, but resist the good things they said. When someone says something good, believe it.Good luck

Same here ProGamer, had to learn to believe in me when no one else did. I mean, quite literally everyone I was surrounded by were big downers, generally pretty pessimistic people who encouraged me to settle for less because that's what they did. This is unfortunate, but what it means is that it will be harder to grow into the person you really are when in that environment. Harder.... but not impossible. Stand your ground. Keep on keeping on.

Fight for what you want,!so later you know you gave it your best,
it’s not important how others see you but how you know yourself!

I’ve been on a binge of advice-searching for how to believe in myself and this video was enough to get through to me and make me tear up a bit. I’ve never done any integration. I can’t remember the last time I felt proud of myself and really allowed myself to take credit for it. I also probably didn’t get the positive feedback I needed growing up. I don’t remember what it’s like to feel confident in myself or my ability. (And that sounds pretty messed up) Before I can jump outside my comfort zone and pursue a passion I need to at least have a tiny, tiny voice of Hope telling me I can do it.

Yup. So true. “Integration” really resonated with me. And you know, I will start this practice with my husband too. Not taking myself or him, or anyone else in my life for granted. Appreciating all the little successes in our life, and, saying them out loud, to make them real! I will be sharing this with my 14 year old too. Thank you for the wisdom!

I love you man. Your videos are really helping me out lately. I almost lost all of my respect towards me, my family,... Just because things were really hard from the moment I was born my mom was sick, we have so much money problems, my mother's depression was the worst back then when I was little, and even to this day has so much impact on me, it's ridiculous and really painful sometimes. My mom often says things about me that are really mean and they make me so sad and lonely. I do realize I'm not my mother, but still some parts of me believe I will be just like her one day, if I don't move far away from her, but I can't because I don't have the money right now, I'm studying and paying for school... so our situation is really hard. that's why I'm in a bad mood most of the time. and because of that I started to hate myself...which definitely has to stop! With your help I'm starting to see things differently, so thanks for that Brandon. You're the best!

    1. Love ( love yourself, love every one)
    2. You need a proof, you have to maintain an activity in a long run. a tiny change makes big result.
    3. Follow step 2: you need to integrate small win, I did it yesterday. I just do it. I can do it. You don't need do prove who you are for other people, You need prove that for yourself.
4 Priming ( do something in advance, anything that activate your feelings, your emotions---> but from your core !)
    5. feedback ( admit that, no pain, no gain), go ahead.

Great video!! Thanks Brendon! Integration is sometimes hard...I liked the tip of integrating our successes, however, even integrating our failures in a constructive way, makes us more confident in our potential to overcome rough patches in our character or life, it makes us more kind to others' failures and mistakes (enhance our forgiveness capabilities), and actually can make us feel proud!

I like to use a little positive comparison. Not to say, I'm better than that mess of a human, but rather to say I once was struggling with that problem, I see I've come a ways. Now to speak some love over that person, to encourage. I don't offer advice without permission, it's usually not wanted.

I am trying to write 7 stories of accomplishments I did in my life, to help flesh out a career. It is from "what color is your parachute", a career defining book.
I have ran into difficulty completing this task because I don't believe that my accomplishments had enough accomplishment and importance to matter enough to impact a direction for my future career. And yet, these accomplishments must be enough for this task, and must influence my future in some way, by pointing out some direction.

Incredible video. Brendon, I think more videos like this where you share your thoughts and words of motivation and encouragement on overcoming very difficult ruts in life that I believe apply to a lot of your fans, including myself. Sometimes for us (me at least), the life tips you offer are, for lack of a better way to put it, 'beyond' our primary issue list we constantly need to address in our lives. In other words, in my experience I have noticed my ability to relate and get the 'most' out of your videos is when I choose your videos with themes that sorta correspond to my level of life happiness or mental psyche at that point of my life. So I think addressing more videos that help get people out of that initial, baseline rut will allow them to have a better perspective going into a lot of your other videos, and it will likely have a greater effect on your fans, including myself. Thanks for all that you do.

    Black Cloud Story:
I used to walk around feeling there was a "black cloud" over my head - NO MORE!
    How did this happen?
    Food for thought!
I was raised with such an extreme degree of social and interprsonal naivery that it even prevented me from obtaining th marks in High school in certain subjects that I needed to be accepted into university.
At the time, I wanted to go to McGoll and become an engineer. Money was no object, my parents had plenty (but also did not "let me grow up with a silver spoon in my mouth".
I realized, albeit emphacized by having suffered about 8 years of peer violence in two dofferent cities, at times with weapons involved, that I was a hated person, and soething was wrong with me.
Then one day one of many major life-tunrning points arrived.
I was overhearing two seemongly successwful people arguing and truing to settle a dispute between them. I had no input, I was only an unknown listener.
I was suddenly very surprised, and a bit coinfused.
These two people are tring to settle their differences in the WORST way possible! And I thought I was the one that was so wrong? What goves!"
Then it dawned on me: "Just because No 1 is wrong doesn't make no 2 right, (or anyone else for that matter)
This happened long after I had left High School, far too late in life to have had its rightful benefits - too much had been inappropriatly with held for far too long by far too many, not only my parents.
BLACK CLOUD GONE! never to return!
The rest is an exceptionlly long and complex story, and at age 72, I hav e the "Elephant memory" to tell it woith enough graphic detail one could make a super-movie!
As for self-esteem, I independently reasoned that hthere are 2 kinds of this, internal anexternal.
Since then,I have been told by a mental health professional that what I called "external self-esteem" as a formal clinical name. Persanally, I prefer my name for it as it is more associative of said abstracts.
Many accomplished eople have suggested I write a book, however this would have severl provlems.
First, some of them were thinking of an ink and paper publication, but that is apodly going the way of the Dodo bird, due to cost and the enviornmental issues attendant to ink and paper.
Second, I had no expectation at the time that any publisher would accept to publish it, without insisting in carving it up to make it sell at the moral beholding therin. NO WAY!
Now years later at the age of 72, I start to put all the myriad pieces together in e-space.
The very structure of thois alone ois compex enpough that, as I enter it all in a spreadsheet workbook, and that spreadsheet is automatically countong the cross-multiplication of the timeline events and the many episode correlations, as well as the correlations between the episodes and their underlying commonalities, in one work session alone it has reached over 100, and that is a mere begnning of the collecting.
The value of all this is in the inter-relations, far more than the actual details, but, catch-22, one needs the details to make sense of the correlations and vice-versa!
In point of fact, no ink and paper could do justice to something of this kind, so we make the best of the 50 or more years of technicalogical exposure I have had.
and would one like it in English, French or Spanish!
Enough for now, as I have to get some slpeep, I have a meeting today later on.
