As taught to us by Ben Nevis distillery add a couple of drops of water to whiskey. It changes it totally. You get a much better flavour 😊

Yeah seems to be almost guaranteed to get ill every time you fly now! No they were there back in June for the big cruise out - we’d love to do that one day!

We have had the flu come through our house. My sister got hit hard, my mum went into the hospital with sepsis, my step father looks like he was hit with a sack of bricks and me? I just got an itch in my throat for a few days.
My mum is fine. Caught it really early and just 2 IV bags of antibiotics and they sent her home.
I missed you when you passed Willowtree marina on the Paddington Arm . Would have been nice to say Hi . I do like your channel. Bought my boat from Bradford on Avon marina a couple of months ago (your neck of the woods ) I would rather be on the K&A than just outside London but cest la vie .Happy Cruising the pair of you .Ciao
Aw amazing! We do love Bradford on Avon. Did you sail it up or on the back of a lorry? London definitely is different to the K&A but we’ve been loving it!
Had to have it brought down on a truck as they had just shut Chertsey lock on the Thames . It was just over 3 Grand but the boat was back in the water within 3 hrs , then 2 solid days of chug hug chug to do the equivalent of a 35 minute car ride lol . Looks like you are heading out towards the River Lee which is a seriously overcrowded bit of water and not necessarily the best place for security if away from the boat . Im sure somebody will shoot me down for saying that but ....be wary

That is not a "Narrowboat" it is "Broadbeam" and while there is much more space they have a limited range on the canals as some locks can only take a true narrowboat.
We call them wide beams, but yeah aware of the restrictions we made a video on it before
I'm the same with whiskey. Got into cigars a few years ago and everyone discusses which whiskey pairs well with a cigar and I'm there slurping on my sainsburys orange and mango pop.

How did you do the trip to Switzerland?
We got told about 48 hour secure moorings at the canal museum so planned the longest we could there was 12 hours due to how the flights worked out. Then walked around the corner to King’s Cross & got the train to Luton

Hi! When living on a narrowboat, do you have an address, per se? If not, how do you deal with not having an address - like for banks, insurance etc.
We have our addresses at our family homes ☺️
It seems that ever since airlines stopped smoking on flights, i.e. didn't need to use the air conditioning, everyone I know who has flown anywhere has come down with a cold!? It can't be that much of a 'coincidence' surely???
