IXS Trigger FF. The best helmet imo cause it has also mips and is certified for downhill as well and perfect airflow by just 600 grams.

Well, the Giro Insurgent spherical MIPS is very similar to the Bell Full 10. I’ve been very happy with it, but I whacked my head and it did a great job and now needs to be replaced. It’s cheaper than the Full 10. So…

I own the Bell Super 3R. I use it for local trail and enduro races. I do a lot of stupid shit so I use a full face. Broke two half shells this year in wrecks. Could easily have been my teeth or jaw hitting those rocks.

I have Giro Switchblae Mips. Its an excellent DH/enduro helmet. Very comfortable and very strong helmet. But i want to get Troy Lee Stage. Because Giro does not have alot of air ventilation etc. Sometimes when i do alot of riding and bread alot it can tough to bread specially in the winter. I really like that troy lee design

Had a 100% Aircraft 2 that I wrecked in and wasn't able to get a replacement due to it being sold out, I snagged the Giro Insurgent and I'm liking it's fit and feel more than the Aircraft 2.

I absolutely love this video. Excellent pro grade quality reviews on most of the helmets we all end up narrowing down to. My only gripe as a female is that NO videos talk about the shells being dif sizes vs same and whats best for small heads. Im approx 52 cm and its just so hard to figure what will actually not be massive or loose or even bulky. I come from motorcycles and never liked modular helmets bc not tight enough.. i dont want to get a mtb helmet and end up with that issue or sizing issues etc

I just purchased the Smith Mainline and Fox Proframe (size large / 59mm head) and would have to say the Mainline is a bit more comfortable. I did play around with the different size pads.
The MIPS system on both helmets do creak a lot. Hopefully this goes away after a few downhill rides. If not, I will return and get a non-MIPS helmet.

Agree, I think this is lacking in the mountain bike world in general. Moto helmet vendors usually state what shape head fit the helmet is for, but I have not seen this from any of the mountain bike helmets. I'm an Arai Signet long oval, so finding the right fit can be hard.

@@DoubleTap702 I have a odd shape head and often fit between a medium and a large. I just wished they had more than 2 shell sizes.
