I remember you moving your outhouse on Alaska, the last frontier in the middle of winter and you had to light a fire to thaw out the ground before you could dig! It's a much easier job with no frozen ground. That young lad is worth at least 3 men. 💪💪💪💪
I know you do have a huge holding tank for your house. I have a septic tank with an outhouse over it. But I did have it pumped out after many years. It's different in the lower 48, I know. Lol
Hi otto I'm from a small town in the UK called Stourbridge, famous for glass, anyway I'm going through a bad time at moment but watching your channel has really cheered me up thanks
Loved this. Wyatt kicked major @$$. I loved when he jumped up and grabbed the pole and released the chain. My brothers and I use to work like that. Good stuff!.
OK, I gotta tell you a funny one you just said about the outhouse falling in when I was younger I bought a used mobile home older. My grandparents came out to see their grandson‘s first new home. Grandpa was there to see me. Grandpa was in the bathroom, taking a poop. Next thing I hear is hey boy hey boy hey boy get in here. The toilet is fallen into the floor my papa was sitting on the ground underneath the mobile home along with the busted toilet. I’ll never forget that laugh my ass off we both did.
Where is August been? I’ve been watching on UA-cam but never say August is such a good kid. I really miss seeing him. I’m really glad you’re back. Thank you for coming back on UA-cam. I didn’t miss one of the last last frontier shows. I really enjoyed it. big time Alaska was on my bucket list, but my bucket has a hole in it now I’m 65 years old Problems leg problems so I guess up and down the hills won’t work so I guess that fell out with a hole in the bottom of the bucket darn it keep doing what you’re doing great family
I heard August say that he wanted to learn how to fly a helicopter and then perhaps work on life flights in Alaska. I think that August showed himself to be fantastic when filming during COVID, so it wouldn’t surprise me if he was behind the camera.
Hey Otto, Seems like I remember you putting a flush system in for Charlotte on ATLF during one of the later shows. Why a new outhouse? Wyatt is almost as much fun to watch as you are. Got a twofer; great helper and entertaining too. Can't ask for more than that. Glad to be able to see you in action again. Bye from CT.
That's the 2nd out house I saw you move. You make it so interesting with your total description of everything. It is a very vivid description Otto. When I was a kid a my grandparents during summer, we had to use the out house all the time. Only exception was when we saw grandpa heading down the path with one of his westerns books and then we had to stay away. Thank you for the video, I really enjoy yours and Eivins videos.
been a long time since I moved an outhouse but I still remember it well ...tends to leave a lasting impression but at least you guys have the kind of equipment I only wished I had ...nice work !
What an entertaining watch (doing some episode catchin' up). Off outhouse subject things I notice is how rich the top layer of soil looks! And what is the wild large-leafed weed called that I see growing all over your homesteads? Is it a useful plant? And on a more modern running water note, how does one wash hands after doing business in the outhouse? I know porta-potties have sanitizer dispensers. Do your outhouses? Anyway, always love watching you at work. Warms my heart like memories of my dad.
I figured you would hook the ends of the pipe instead of rapping it around to shorten it, and it would have kept the chain from pinching against the roof.
Good quality family discussion 🤭. Peeu now that had to suck! Your a weath of information Otto, I hope folks are listening🤔. Thanks for lesson in outhouse hole digging🤗. Now that's a nice hole🎉. JO JO IN VT 💞
Wyatt reminds me of myself at that age, or even younger. I was basically a backhoe for my Dad for many jobs. I remember digging 8 feet deep and about 20 feet long and 4 feet wide to replace a sewer pipe to our septic. I dug the entire thing in about a day and a half. Now at 44 I feel those things. hahaha. However, don't tell him to slow down. You got a good one there.
I’ve lived in Western Kentucky my whole life. I grew up in a time when there were still outhouses scattered around. I used several in my early years. There was one at Swan Lake in the Boatwright wildlife management area in the Ballard County river bottoms. That area floods every spring, I don’t know what they did about the water flooding the outhouse hole. There are still outhouses used in parts of Kentucky but they are actually illegal now.
It ain't full unless it splashes yer butt. Excavator yeah. That's the way to do it. Make one deep enough for a life time. A young guy like that could probably dig like a gopher. Thanks Otto. P.S. A guy with a full outhouse asked me one time where he was supposed to put the poop when he cleaned out the hole. I told him you gotta dig a hole to put it in.
In the hills of Virginia we had that down to a science for it do do roll down hill... With out house above the hole you can plumb her like indoors with rain water from the roof of the barn.... Flush but either way primitive or modernized something about an outhouse....
Is Wyatt your grandson or nephew or great nephew anyway you're so entertaining You can make anything cool to watch thank you for taking the time auto I love to watch you and Ivan's channel and I know this isn't spelling his name right but I'm using voice to text because I've arthritis
I can't believe I just spent 30 minutes watching an outhouse hole being dug. Only did since it's Otto.
Me too. 😂

I love that show too From South Carolina

I seem to remember, Eiven relocated his, on The Last Frontier, though it wasn’t during winter
Looks like the tracks on that excavator have seen better days.
I remember that episode. Otto’s realisation that the outhouse was full was hilarious.
Wyatt is a hard worker, keep him around. Nice to see your sister on the channel.
yes he is he will work his way to the bottom of the ladder and end up struggling
yeah , we haven't seen the Sister much , have we ? 😊
Hi otto I'm from a small town in the UK called Stourbridge, famous for glass, anyway I'm going through a bad time at moment but watching your channel has really cheered me up thanks
That Wyatt is a hard working young man😀
Oh Otto, you even make digging an outhouse hole entertaining! 🤣. Nice job!! Wyatt learned a lot!! Love from Pennsylvania 💕🌷🐻
Love Otto videos this is why I used to watch you on last frontier like all the jobs you do
I sure enjoyed this. Never seen this done before. Otto you’re entertaining as always! That young guy Wyatt is a good worker. He’s a keeper 👍🏻😊
Wyatt is one good young man. He's not camera shy. Could probably succeed with his own UA-cam channel. Just needs a topic to film. 👍👍👍
You can send that young man to my homestead. He is very capable with an incredible attitude.
😂. I’m glad that metal splinter has a new home at the bottom of the outhouse hole!!
From pooperfull to pooperful in less than 1,000 easy steps! Brilliant job Otto, Sunshine, Wyatt, other fellows, and whoever is filming! Thanks.
Great banter with young Wyatt. Otto always makes the most awkward job look easy. ❤
Loved this. Wyatt kicked major @$$. I loved when he jumped up and grabbed the pole and released the chain. My brothers and I use to work like that. Good stuff!.
I love the clap at like 0:15 and the dust flies off his hands lol
You & the fam crack me up! You can make even digging an outhouse hole an adventure & humorous 😂 Love y'all❤
Otto you are a great teacher. Wyatt is a good young man, learning from his elders. That is what life is truly about.
Wyatt did a great job! The monkey move to undo the chains was epic.

I sometimes hear August behind the camera, so maybe he’s on the production team

Sunrise is a sweetheart.
I enjoyed this episode. You found a real good helper in Wyatt!

The old lady seems to be the boss.
I like the A after a sentence, Otto!
Wyatt is a good worker. He needs to go on the Kelcher Payroll.

Thank You for sharing. You life with us😊
Thank you, Wyatt, for helping out! You really stepped up.
I notice everything grows well around the outhouse.
Otto, great video and job on the out house. You had a really great helping hand . Enjoyed your videos.
David B.,Utah. 🚜🚜💞💞👍👍❤❤❤.
I figured you would hook the ends of the pipe instead of rapping it around to shorten it, and it would have kept the chain from pinching against the roof.
Kids hell of a worker
Good quality family discussion 🤭.

Good job. My Grandfather had outhouse, when he moved them, he filled old with dirt of new hole, just a thought.
Great Video Old Boy!!! Reminded Me of My growing up in Northern Alberta and moving the out house. Great mentoring for the Young Lad!!! Cheers Bud

Great job 👏 👍
Sunrise is a great name
Jeez, Wyatt’s a beast!
Great helper!
Great team work Otto and Wyatt!
A Star is born!
There are simple septic systems that are economical and environmentally friendly.
Stinking thinkin for the new outhouse.
I remember Otto digging one due to a "poopcicle" after lighting a fire to thaw the ground in that other show😊
Nice work, Wyatt!
Nice work team Otto 👍
Otto, you’re awesome!❤
Before even watching any of your video, your title grabbed me in. LMAO
Great video. Keep them coming.

Southeastern rural Ohio, early 1950’s, I was in the 6th grade before the local elementary school had indoor plumbing. [New school]

Why you're already a wise person you're a good is that your great help. Restart in my book❤
Way to go on the out house🎉🎉🎉🎉.
nice video
Nice work!
Hey Otto I stayed in the Barn back in 2016. I’ve made a few deposits there. lol
Wyatt is so handsome and a great worker.
He was a good hand .
In the hills of Virginia we had that down to a science for it do do roll down hill... With out house above the hole you can plumb her like indoors with rain water from the roof of the barn.... Flush but either way primitive or modernized something about an outhouse....
Need to cut all of the brush down on the homestead. And put indoor plumbing.
I always watched the show. Glad to see him back. Who is Sunrise?
Otto's sister. There are 6 sisters .
Hey Otto, l believe you must have watched, the Red Green show.
La juventuttt💪🏻🙌🏻
You’ve got a good worker in Wyatt there.
The honey pot🍯 is full. 😮😮😮😮
Remember, you never want to take a shit, you always want to leave it. 😂
great job guy's UK
Need to invest in a 36" auger for your mini and outhouse work.
We put the auger head on the skid steer and dig the hole. Fast. Easy as Poopin'.
Is Wyatt your grandson or nephew or great nephew anyway you're so entertaining You can make anything cool to watch thank you for taking the time auto I love to watch you and Ivan's channel and I know this isn't spelling his name right but I'm using voice to text because I've arthritis
Wyatt's a badass. Let's see more of him. AND - how long has Otto been wearing that hat?? And I just realized it's for Otto Kilcher - not OK
I only had to help dig one outhouse pit but we didn’t have an excavator. Just shovels. Worst sunburn I’ve ever had.
#2 with a view?! What a life!
Do awesome to see you again Otto. Where is everybody else. Your brother and his kids
Down in the lower 48, I prefer indoor plumbing.
U could use a auger to make a nice hole
great kid for any job...
Tell that young lad to watch where he puts his hands!
Hey Otto, love your channel but was wondering hows the rest of the clan Atz, Atzlee, Jane ect
I’ve found an auger works good for an outhouse hole
Young Buck County ❤🎉
