I love rev'it, been buying jackets for about 5 years now and last year I've notice the build quality is getting worse. I've already broken two zippers and now the stitching is coming apart. For the price of these jackets it shouldn't fall apart so easily. Sucks because I'm a huge fan of rev'it.
I have the Air 2 and it's not bad, confortable in the heat and fits me well. The back protector makes my back sweat a lot, though, it's not very well ventilated, and it's huge. But the worst part is that the graphics (including the reflective pieces) are peeling off after just 6 months of use, and looks really bad now.
That shouldn't be happening! Send our CS team an email about your jacket with pictures of the reflective bits, they should be able to help you out!
a summer jacket that's charcoal black. what a great idea.
This jacket seems to be exactly what I was looking for. I was looking for a summer mesh jacket without a neck strap and without Velcro over the zipper nor on the sleeves. I will be ordering it just not in dark color
I find their summer jackets confusing. There's the Eclipse, GT-R Air, Quantum, and Hyperspeed. Looking for the best ventilation in hot humid Florida weather
They will all ventilate about the same since they are mainly-mesh jackets. The differences between the jackets are in all the other features. Hard shoulder exterior armor vs none, CE 1 soft armor vs CE2 armor, aggressive pre-curve sleeves for sport riding vs more neutral up-right positions, etc. The mesh is what provides the airflow, so they will all flow the same amount, it's the other features you are after (including price point) and how that will help your ride. You should give our customer service a call to discuss what's best for you and your ride, they can help you out in more detail.
Does it come with a slot for a chest insert?
Are the zips on cuffs fully opened?
You folks got to recommend the right jacket for me. I've asked with info on what type of riding I'll be doing. HELP. I've bought a ton of stuff from u folks

Can the elbow and shoulder protection be replaced by CE level 2 ?
Yes, it will make the jacket fit tighter, but the armor will fit in the pocket.
