    This is probably the most useful video series on 60s bodywork repair on youtube, practical and on a budget. You've got mad skills and you explain things very clearly. At some point, if you haven't already, you may want to look at the order of the videos in the playlist. Last i checked it was showing them in reverse order. This is worth seeing from start to finish and getting them in chronological order would help. Thanks for all of these.

    Said it before, and will say it again, THANK YOU for saving this car! People can say what they want but you have done a great service to this car by not making it scrap! Hacks don't fully weld panels or make sure they line up before the filler is applied! As for the 66, a stock looking road race car would be GREAT! Not full bodywork and painted either. Something that has a patina to it and is an honest car that someone would drive regularly. I hate people that buy cars and park them for years 😡

    Hey, brother! Thanks for sharing not only the videos, but also the products you're using and your technique of using these products. It's much appreciated.
    I was always an anti-filler guy, and tried to always use metal to get my fill, then scratch filling primer, primer, and paint. As for the factory seams, I always used lead. I know lead working is a dying art, I'm happy that I learned it, but it seems like they're constantly putting newer and better products out there for us to use.
    BUT!!,
    now, believe it or not, I believe you've changed my mind!
    Especially the fact your USC 4060 all-metal filler is not going to attract moisture between it and the metal surface. I'm definitely going to have to look into it further, thanks! As always, I look forward to seeing more of the progress from basket case to masterpiece!
    Until next time!😎🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲

    • @damianlindsey6177
      @damianlindsey6177 26 днів тому +1

      A decent chassis to start with around here is going to set you back almost 20k for a roller for a fastback and about 10k for a coupe like the red one. That's nuts money for an incomplete 40+ year old car.

    As for your new toy...I would love to see it put back together as a clean driver given the projects out there nowadays are brutally hacked up disasters that people expect top dollar for because it's a Mustang. BUT, the fact it is a bare car is a big bonus and it looks pretty good versus what the 65 started as once the sins were revealed. As for the GT crap...LOL...i would have taken that crap off before it went in...crooked as all heck plus of course it's somebody stupid made up thing.
