2:05 goal ⚽️⚽️⚽️💪💪
That intro from Drury 🙌🏼🙌🏼
For the very first time, two of the grand establishment clubs of European football get to meet in this wonderful place. The timing after all these years might be better for Arsenal who're in different form, but form is temporary and it's the permanent class of these clubs which lense this fixture.
The grand of the stage, the crowd is vibrant, the sense of the occasion intoxicating, it has never happened.
For the first time, it's Real Madrid against Arsenal
The way that Henry ran through their defense to score that goal would be the equivalent of me barging through 4 toddlers to score, I'd be like "have that".
I miss arsenal like this 😢 passion commitment spirit for to 1 club that its ARSENAL
The first "English Club" to beat Real Madrid at thier own ground. ❤
Esse foi o primeiro jogo ao vivo que eu assisti do arsenal....virei fã de henry e do arsenal...naquela epoca eu era doido por uma camisa arsenal de henry
This era in football was the best. Talent everywhere in europe. Real Madrid, Barcelona, Milan, Inter, M United, Juventus, etc. Great players.
Yeah..
He single handed took on a super team and beat them. How is this man not the best prem player ever
Great game of Arsenal. Thierry Henry, the best.
RIP Jose Antonio Reyes 😢
🙏
We can come back Arsenal! COYG
Yes! We can...............
No you cant, arsenal are finished at the top level.
john o shea We are only five points off of Champions League football and we haven’t lost a premier league game in 3 months.
@cristi dules Why are you even here if you're not an Arsenal fan???
Didn’t know Arsenal was the first ever English team to beat Real Madrid at their own ground 🔥🔥
One of my fave Henry games ever
Sir Henry...The Unstoppable
0:56 Clicked for Henry but crazy save. Wrong foot. Close range. Casillas was another legend.
im going back watching all the good old days... i'm f..... depressed from arsenal atm.
I have a believe that Arteta will bring our Arsenal back.
If you also believe hit a like
just got kicked out of Europa League haha
back to winning top 4 trophy?
@@sixers1984 yeah
He can bring them back to the top 4 over time. Back to winning all the trophies, that's up to the owners on how much they are willing to spend on getting better players.
@@AK47Stalin Before they could win trophies, Arteta would have left for Man City, Barcelona or Real Madrid.
This is when Henry proved he was the best player in the world. Lead a young team all the way to the final
Henry is one of the greatest footballers of all time. Period.
😂😂
I'm a Real Madrid supporter and that day I freaked out with Henry. His physical superiority was absolute. I never saw nothing similar, except in Ronaldo Nazario.
/
Soy hincha del Real Madrid y aquel día flipé con Henry. Su superioridad física era absoluta. Nunca vi nada igual, excepto en Ronaldo Nazario.
Someone on this thread mentioned confidence. Where did it go?
We use to beat team like Madrid with players like Eboue. We weren't the best on paper but we had confidence and heart.
We need that back!
It will come back don't worry
This is the crowning moment for T.Henry during his arsenal career.
Legend
How Henry never won a Ballon d’or is absolutely criminal
Peter Drury was a legend since then. We just didn't have YT to remind us all the time. "Thierry Henry, the Gunner Galactico". Poetry man
“Thierry Henry, the gunner galactico” Peter Drury is a legend
This was the game where Henry cemented himself as a true elite level player.
One of the biggest wishes in my life is to see Arsenal get back to their best. Unbelievable football and quality all round the pitch but never had the luck to win the UCL. Maybe Arteta will get us back to where we used to be :)
Hes scored. Hes scored for Arsenal in the bernabeu!!!!! Peter drury legend! Henry legend ❤
robert pires, ramos, thierry henry, roberto carlos, gutti, fabregas, casillas, lehmann, david beckham, ronaldo, zidane, raul, diaby. What an era, so many legends and icons on one pitch.
and the legendary peter drury commentating, football at its finest.
No one has mentioned this but at 2:05 *R9* tracks back and pressures Henry. He ends up in his own box near the penalty spot. After the ball is in the net *R9* is in his own 6yrd box. Even he knew. Prime Henry was inevitable. *R9* knew.
Absolute masterclass, we could genuinely have won this one by 4 or 5
Thierry henry was in his prime time that season !!!
At his absolute peak.
How Henry never won the ballon d'or?
*Boi Boi* He deserves it more than Cannavaro. World Cup and Champions League finalist. Ronaldinho, Buffon, and Henry were the best players that year.
Corruption
Cause he live at the time of r9,zidane,ronaldhinho who could arguably the best ever
@cristi dules they were all better then henry...
Only one african black player has won through history of ballon d'or that was in 1995 George Weah. That is interesting on it's own. Henry are black african from France. One french african won and that is Zinedine Zidane but he is white African from the north.
Edit: Ruud Gullit also won in the 80's
when football was magical.. Remember it like yesterday. Today's football just ain't the same..
He was a class above that night, as was the team.
I am Dutch and Arsenal has historically always been one of my favorite clubs.
Nowadays I don't even have patience for highlights of their matches
That changed lately?? XD
Nossa que jogador mágico esse Henry .
