He's Huge but not that much Conditioned
The judges were SO biased against him, he knew it, Ronnie even knew it, everybody can see it. He will forever be the uncrowned king of open body building
Ruhl's biggest issue was his body had poor Symmetry and a lot of his insertions and the shape of his muscle bellies were odd, almost abnormal. He might have had the biggest, freakiest build but Mr Olympia isn't about being the biggest freak, you need more than that. If Rhul had more a appealing shape to his physique he could have won some.

@@mereen750 Not true. Size is valued but they score you heavily upon other things like Symmetry, Posing, Conditioning. The only time this was was sort of true was during the early 2000s during the Ronnie and Jay era, but still even Open was never only about being the biggest.
If this was true guys like Paul Dillet back in the 90s would have established Dynasties. It's not about just being the biggest freak, you need to have other assets to compliment the size.
true Markus said by him self, that Ronnie won because overall he was the best in every category. Markus seems so big, because of his Biceps, Traps and massive shoulders, but he was lacking in a lot of things (that's what he said) @@rcmunro22

@@karimtemri1664 Flex looked better than Ruhl aesthetics wise but Flex looked better than Coleman too. Gunter never won the O either, a shame, or Levrone. Coleman was all mass, not so aesthetic, but smaller than Ruhl. This tells me that Mr. O judging is totally political. And it’s been that way since Arnold beat Sergio and big Lou. Political.

When Rühl walked on stage on Night of the Champions in 2002, we saw maybe the most freakish body ever built. He looked so unreal.

@@undeadbs6004 das wär damals ne andere Zeit, würde er heutzutage gegen Ronnie Coleman, Jay Cutler und co antreten angenommen mit der gleichen Physik hätte er mindestens den zweiten Platz belegt wenn nicht sogar gewonnen.
Ich sag nur Urs hat auch für Deutschland den Zweiten Platz bei den Arnold Classics geholt dieses Jahr.

also wenn ich mir einen 17 jährigen deutschen vorstelle der fußball spielt bei z.b. 183 cm 80kg(es givt schwerere ist nur ein beispiel zum andeuten gedacht)und einem kfa von 18% , dann ist der vom ausgangsgewicht schon (in relation zu kfa) mehr als 26kg (über 46 %) schwerer (in relation zur körpergröße , länge , breite über 37% , ..,) , das wären wohl "vermutlich bei verhätnismäßig genauso gutem training (wie dieser markus rühl) niedrieg geschätzt mehr als 33 % mehr masse ,, ..,

Omg, he just annihilates them all. His sheer size, the density of his musculature, his perfect conditioning.. He'd have been a Mr. Olympia if he was an American.
It's interesting to see Markus, whom we rarely see in media, next to guys like Ronnie, Jay, Dexter, Lee Priest, even Nasser El Sonnbaty, all of whom are better known, and being on par, perhaps even better, than them.

He is much taller than ramy. Today's bodybuilders are hobbit like midget proportions compared to that era.

ca 175 cm is sofar average at american mans (european americans with shorter legs and longer , broader upper body and a rounder build) (african americans with longer legs and shorter , narrower uper body and lesser round build and dilated and more widely spaced blood vessels) and germans 180 or 181 182 cm (not less turkeys hear and i have so far none webside with statistics where It is said that this would be the "presumed average for the Turks and this would be the "presumed average for the Germans) btw I think that the so-called white Americans are smaller on average is at least mainly related to the fact that on average people who are smaller on average with these so-called economic methods as they are recommended by "certain so-called statesmen", propagated ect, have less money in their bank account and/or purse or wherever and are therefore (at least) more inclined to seek their luck in another country (as they say) lucky knight , ..,
