Pink Floyd has a tendency to mesmerize you and take you on a journey every time. Try songs like "Us and Them" or " Time" from "Dark Side of the Moon" their 8th album. Or "Shine on You Crazy Diamond" or even the live version of " Echoes 1972 live in Pompeii" to see them when they were your age!!! Every one of those songs will take you somewhere else on an amazing journey!!!! Enjoyed watching you enjoy them as so many of us do!!! For just instruments do the official video " Marooned". All beautiful music or another one called"Terminal Frost" if you just want music!!
@@peyemireacts Absolutely, just the length of the song, studio/live version is very different, because the studio version is missing what makes the song unique. If you make a video about it too, why not.
It's taken from the album The Wall. The entire album is the life story of fictional Rock Star Mr Pink Floyd. It covers Pinks childhood, with the death of his father, his over protective mother, and abusive school life, through marriage, divorce and all the excesses of becoming a Rock Star. His declining mental health, and brush with Fascism., Pink builds a mental Wall inside his head to protect him from the outside world. Finally ending with his decent into isolation and madness. Comfortably Numb is Pink, lying semi unconscious in a hotel room, being given a shot by a "doctor" just to get him on the stage for a show.
The conversation at the beginning is between a doctor and his rock star patient. The doctor gives him an injection so that he's able to perform at his next show.
A few times I saw you stop waving your head at the sound of the music, because you seemed intrigued by the meaning of the lyrics. If you like songs that convey deep messages, I think you'll be in the right place with Pink Floyd. Titles like "Time" - "Us and Them" - "Brain Damage" or "Wish you Were Here", will certainly please you. Welcome to the rabbit hole that is Pink Floyd. So the question is whether you dare to venture deeper into it?
@@braack4859 a good version, for all the fans, because, they were reunited! But,it's Roger, who was happy to play with them again! It's Roger who was the more egocentric one! Who left the band, and sued the rest of the band! SORRY, if you're a fan of Roger, i'm not underestimating his part in Pink Floyd, but, he's not Pink Floyd! And, for 99% of the fans, the PULSE VERSION IS THE BEST! WITHOUT ROGER.....✌️
@@julienmarquet8612 I don´t like Rogers attitude either but he wrote so many iconic Floyd songs. Without him I doubt Pink Floyd would have been that successful as they were. But you are right Roger Waters isn´t Pink Floyd but David, Roger, Nick and Rick are. I like the Pulse version, but I like the 2005 version slightly more because the quality is equal in my opinion and the real Pink Floyd feeling was there for the last time I guess.
Do this song live! 1994 Pulse Concert. He went crazy on the guitar…❤
I see them 8 or 9 time live and still listen today at the of 64 I love there music

Thank you for listening with me. It's important.

I don´t think its the better one because roger wasn´t there. There is a better live version with Roger and David from 2005
