As a western woman I recently reverted to Islam on my own complete free will, even after being married to a Muslim man for 14 years!! Not once did he tell me to revert. It took a long time but Alhamdulillah I came to it on my own. Allahu Akbar!

Mashallah, I have noticed despite there being many misinformed people in the South yet once they understand Islam with an open mind it resonates with them.

I chose Islam for so many reasons, none of which included a man. She might make her biggest life decisions based on what men want, that doesn’t mean we all do.

It doesn’t need to be the reason they came to Islam, but you can see how Muslim men treat women and that could spark an interest into the religion to learn more and see more and that then inevitably leads to someone converting.
Everything a Muslim does, in front of and around people who are non Muslim is a form of dawah. They always want to know why you behave the way you do.

Not really. If you talk to most of them it’s because of material things and things of the flesh. I don’t know one Muslim convert story that isn’t shallow. Compare Muslim to Christianity vs Christian to Islam testimonies. The Muslim literally has a change of heart he acknowledges than he has sinned he repents from his sin Jesus becomes the Center of his life. And you learn some Christian fundamental principles such as loving your enemy,but the Christian who becomes Muslim simply goes on about how beautiful they thought the mosque or the Adhan was. And of course the Muslim boyfriend I never see any change of heart or any acknowledgment of one’s sin.

Why should Islam be split between the "Reverts" and the "born Muslims?" Such thinking never existed before in Islam, and inventing new things in Islam and claiming it's Sunnah is fitna.
Moreover, there should be many "born Muslims" who consider themselves "Reverts" after living very, very, very unislamic lives.
Such individuals should also call themselves "Reverts."
So, is there a higher status with being a "born Muslim?"
That would therefore make "Reverts" a lower caste or second-class citizens 🤔 as Muslims.
I have been Muslim the majority of my 52 years of life, and I have thought a great deal about Islam and how I am labeled among other Muslims.

As for those from whom ye fear rebellion, admonish them and banish them to beds apart, and SCOURGE them (Note: Scourge = To whip severely, flog). Then if they obey you, seek not a way against them. Lo! Allah is ever High, Exalted, Great. (Allah in Quran 4:34)
3. Also (prohibited are) women already married, except those whom your right hands possess (Note: This refers to SEX SLAVES). (Allah in Quran 4:24a)
4. Your wives are as a tilth (Note: “Tilth” means soil for cultivation) unto you; so approach your tilth WHEN OR HOW YE WILL; but do some good act for your souls beforehand; and fear Allah. And know that ye are to meet Him (in the Hereafter) and give (these) good tidings to those who believe. (Allah in Quran 2:223)
5. It was narrated that Aishah said: "I often scraped it (SEMEN) from the garment of the Messenger of Allah with my hand." (Sunan Ibn Majah 537, Grade: Sahih)

(Note: On the waiting period to finalize divorce) The waiting period of those of your women who have lost all expectation of menstruation shall be three months in case you entertain any doubt; and the same shall apply to those who have NOT YET MENSTRUATED (Note: This means prepubescent girls). As for pregnant women, their waiting period shall be until the delivery of their burden. Allah will create ease for him who fears Allah. (Allah in Quran 65:4)
7. Narrated Hisham's father: Khadija died three years before the Prophet departed to Medina. He stayed there for two years or so and then he married Aisha when she was a girl of six years of age, and he CONSUMED that marriage when she was NINE years old. (Sahih al-Bukhari 3896, Grade: Sahih)
8. Indeed, for the righteous is attainment - Gardens and grapevines and full-breasted [companions] of equal age and a full cup. (Allah in Quran 78:31-34)

He is forgiven with the first flow of blood (he suffers), he is shown his place in Paradise, he is protected from punishment in the grave, secured from the greatest terror, the crown of dignity is placed upon his head - and its gems are better than the world and what is in it - he is married to 72 wives along AL-HURIL-'AYN (Note: These are the 72 wide-eyes, big-breasted, translucent-skinned “houris”) of Paradise, and he may intercede for seventy of his close relatives." [Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih. (Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1663, Grade: Hasan i.e. good and authentic)
10. Anas narrated that the Prophet said: "The believer shall be given in paradise such and such STRENGTH IN INTERCOURSE." It was said: "O Messenger of Allah! And will he able to do that?" He said: "He will be given the STRENGTH OF A HUNDRED." (Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2536, Grade: Hasan)
11. Chapter: Having sexual intercourse and repeating it. And engaging with one's own wives and taking a SINGLE BATH (after doing so). Narrated Qatada: Narrated Qatada: Anas bin Malik said, "THE PROPHET USED TO VISIT ALL HIS WIVES IN A ROUND, DURING THE DAY AND NIGHT AND THEY WERE ELEVEN IN NUMBER." I asked Anas, "Had the Prophet the strength for it?" Anas replied, "We used to say that the Prophet was given the strength of thirty (men)." And Sa`id said on the authority of Qatada that Anas had told him about nine wives only (not eleven). (Sahih al-Bukhari 268, Grade: Sahih)
12. Narrated Abu Usaid: We went out with the Prophet to a garden called Ash-Shaut till we reached two walls between which we sat down. The Prophet said, "Sit here," and went in (the garden). The Jauniyya (a lady from Bani Jaun) had been brought and lodged in a house in a date-palm garden in the home of Umaima bint An- Nu`man bin Sharahil, and her wet nurse was with her. When the Prophet ENTERED UPON HER, he said to her, "Give me yourself (in marriage) as a gift." She said, "Can a princess give herself in marriage to an ordinary man?" The Prophet raised his hand to PAT HER SO THAT SHE MIGHT BECOME TRANQUIL. She said, "I seek refuge with Allah from you." He said, "You have sought refuge with One Who gives refuge. Then the Prophet came out to us and said, "O Abu Usaid! Give her TWO WHITE LINEN DRESSES to wear and let her go back to her family." (Muhammad in Sahih al-Bukhari 5255, Grade: Sahih)
13. Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri: The Prophet said, "Isn't the witness of a woman equal to half of that of a man?" The women said, "Yes." He said, "This is because of the DEFICIENCY OF A WOMAN'S MIND." (Muhammad in Sahih al-Bukhari 2658, Grade: Sahih)
14. Ibn 'Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) said:

You should give charity and be diligent in seeking Allah's forgiveness because I have seen (i.e., on the Night of the Ascension to the highest heavens) that DWELLERS OF THE HELL ARE WOMEN." A woman amongst them said: "Why is it that the majority of the dwellers of Hell are women?" The Prophet replied, "You curse frequently and are ungrateful to your husbands. In spite of your lacking in wisdom and failing in religion, you are depriving the wisest of men of their intelligence." Upon this the woman asked: "What is the deficiency in our wisdom and in our religion?" He replied, "Your lack of wisdom can be well judged from the fact that the evidence of two women is equal to that one man. You do not offer Salat (prayer) for some days and you do not fast (the whole of) Ramadan sometimes, it is a deficiency in religion." (Riyad as-Salihin 1879, Grade: Authentic)
16. Aisha reported that Sahla bint Suhail came to Allah's Apostle and said: “Messenger of Allah, I see on the face of Abu Hudhaifa (signs of disgust) on entering of Salim (who is an ally) into (our house), whereupon Allah's Apostle said: SUCKLE HIM. She said: How can I suckle him as he is a grown-up man? ALLAH'S MESSENGER SMILED and said: I already know that he is a young man. (Aisha in Sahih Muslim 1453a, Grade: Sahih)

Because I have to, not good to, but have to provide for her, for the children, food, clothing, education, I have to provide her a house of her own, I have to help her with house work and raising the kids...or I go to the jahannam. - in England, non-Muslim men kill/murder their wives/female cohabitees at the rate of about two a week
- billions and billions of pounds are spent each year trying to tackle domestic violence
- the Bible says that women are the chattels of men to do with as they want [mere objects OWNED by men]
- the Holy Qur'an says 'women are raiment for you and you are raiment for them, [equal]
- Muslim men are supposed to 'worship' their mothers as they are told to look for heaven beneath her feet, [get Heaven by being good to mother]
- 'the best of men are those that are best to their wives, [again, get Heaven if you are good to your wives]
- If you look after a daughter properly, you get Heaven
- LOTS of other things, (since Islam started 14 centuries ago), like husbands being obligated to look after their wives; if she earns, it is HER money; etc, whilst in the West, women were not even allowed to own property/vote/etc., until the 20th century even though it was their money. British Men could even murder their wives up to the 60s, and the majority of the time, it was ignored as a 'domestic'.

I had a responsibility to my children to learn the truth as I took them to church with me on weekends, but a Muslim school for safety. Alhumdulilah (thank Allah), the one and only guider and sustainer of mankind, I opened my eyes and searched. Was very sad that it took me 16 years. Lady, you have it all wrong!!!
