- After last week's gig disaster I've had a think about the gear I'm using. This weekend I had 3 gigs in 3 days. I did and Elton John Show on Electric and Acoustic guitars, an Elvis show on Electric Guitar and and Acoustic Guitar duo.
The preset is called "Ac Sc Shimmer" - My Cortex Cloud Profile where you can download it:

Thoroughly enjoyed this video T.J and you are truly blessed, not only with talent, but a beautiful family as well. Cheers from across the pond. ❤️
Very nice of you to say so, thank you!
Heart warming "family ensemble" ❤️
Thanks!
That solo on Georgia is sublime!
Thank you!
Another awesome video Tom! Thanks for sharing, always a great addition to my week when I see the notification for a new post from you. What a talented bunch you are :)
Thank you, appreciate you saying that!!
Wow TJ! Love the content and your playing!
Thank you!
I love these gig videos with a combination of great playing, some cool technical content, and something to warm our hearts. Thanks!
Thank you, I hope it's interesting and informative....also entertaining! Thank you for watching!
Hey Bro! Love the Georgia piece! Rock on!
Thank you!
Amazing stuff as always TJ !
Thank you!
Sir, you’ve got your act and versatile chops together, be it jazz, Rock, Country, Pop. Real and reliable musicianship indeed instead of ego bedroom noodling for a change. I admire guys you can throw a guitar and (maybe) a leadsheet at and off they go…
Thank you....I'm trying to show what it's like being a working musician....don't have much time to do much bedroom noodling these days!! Thanks for watching!
Love the variety of the work you do. Was half expecting a long blond wig so you could be Davy Johnstone on the Elton gig! Great to see your daughter get up again and holding the notes on Valerie. It is so easy to follow the harmony, so well done.
Long blond wig....yes....I've missed a trick!! Ellie is doing really well, she's really enjoying it too which is the main thing....i'm not making her do it, it comes from her!!
Ooh my first time being censored! Love the vids Tom, keep it up! 👌
I was trying to preserve your modesty.....not the age rating on the video! 😀 You sound great on the clips....I will find the time to copy the other songs for you!!
Awesome! Talented TJ! Great playing, singing, insight & all! Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it...hope it was useful....and entertaining!
Hi TJ,
Thanks for all the great, informative videos!
Your a hard working, talented guitar player with a positive attitude.
Thanks for saying that, I appreciate it....the enforced break due to lockdown has certainly made me appreciate playing live again!!
Full of admiration !! I did this lark about 50 years ago and it was just as bad except that the hardware broke even faster !! Lovely to see the young ones joining in .. I hope you get as much pleasure out of that as playing !! Keep it up and thanks fro the QC patches . I will try a few out !!
I think the hardware has got more reliable....but we rely on it more as a result! Of course user-error (as was probably the issue!) is always there! I'm really enjoying Ellie getting up and singing, I've been waiting for this for a long time!!!
Superb playing bud but just 3 gigs....... Easy week! 😜😂
Ha, I know! 10-15 years ago I was doing anything up to 8 gigs a week....I don't have the time or the energy now I've got kids!!
Hello TJ.
This is a wonderful video. Man you have a great job because I enjoyed seeing your family singing along. That was nice.
I almost wanted to suggest a Furman line conditioner since you play at many different locations. But I really didn’t understand the issues you were having with the QC until I watched this video.
Thank you! Really pleased you like the videos, I'm trying to mix the technical with a bit of a story!! I think it was mainly user error that caused the issues...although I never miss the chance to check out some new gear!!
happened to me too, i just set the 2nd input for acoustic guitar so even if i press by mistake the up or down button it just doesent take any sound from acoustic guitar, cheers
That’s a good idea!! I didn’t think of that….thank you!!!
