I'm from New Zealand and I've always wanted to visit Turkey so bad lol, eat all the yummy things, see all the sites and mosques in Istanbul, Ankara and İzmir.
I'm from the UK and been to Turkey 5 times, the bakeries there are next level too, no matter where you go there will be a local bakery that sells freshly hand baked bread that is perfect in the mornings. Authentic Baklava is very nice too especially if you like honey and nuts, it can be a bit sickly after a few pieces of the same type because it is very rich in flavour, If you ever get the chance to go I suggest you pick out one or two different types from as wide a range as you can afford and try them, some might not be to your taste but there will be many that you will love.

I'm English and my all time favourite treat is Baklava but what we get hear is not the same as when I was on holiday in Turkey. I like the fact that I can only manage two pieces and I'm full but give me chocolate and it is demolished. So it helps to not eat a lot of sweet stuff.

Beautiful craftsmanship, a credit to their community, no doubt. The machinery takes me back an age or two, fabulous looking mechanics to them, and the end result is, i feel like i could eat a try of any of it. :)
I make baklava. First time was about 10 years ago. It really isn't that hard to make, just really time consuming. But of course I make it in much smaller amounts.

Agreed, many many tourist flocked to Turkey, as the Turks are hospitable, generous and excellent quality food and goods. Now while the region is not stable Turkey has lost it's enamour and many tourist are going to Greece, as threats of kidnappings of westerners and sadly many of their wonderful hotels are now empty.
