I'm glad you actually played every game in the generation your reviewing this time so you could have accurate information.
Yeah, when I started Part 3, I knew I'd need to play all the games in Gen 3 to fight every elder and be as accurate as possible.
When I stick all the 'parts' together, I plan to revise some parts of MH1 and Dos, as I have engaged more with Dos online and am more familar with the information I omitted from the last 2 parts. I'm still not 100% convinced on whether I'll play MH1 or MHG all the way through, but I'll make an effort for Dos as I've set up the online and am playing through it, and I really think it is a unique MH game in its own right.
@@Protoprysm MH1 is the only Gen 1 or 2 game to not have bugged regular Fatalis AI so I would say it's worth the play.
I started 3U, but took a break in the middle of High Rank to play MHXX (now i'm G rank in the second while still high rank in the first)
Yeah that’s fair,
I’m G rank in both, but only made an effort to complete 3U last year, alongside tri which took a long ass time

yeah underwater combat feel jank because of the camera mostly lol
because 3u ruined the camera for no reason
Your movement underwater is also just slow and clunky in general. Lagiacrus underwater is easily one of my least favorite fights due to how fast and big his moves are, it doesn't feel like it was made for the state of underwater combat at all.

The latency, the camera, and the color lighting was weird.
Still enjoyed it though.
