In today's vlog I race the Bristol Track Club 5k at the Odd Down Circuit in Bath. With an incredibly strong field of elite runners and in the midst of my training for the Boston Marathon training, I've got no idea how this ones going to go. just looked it up too, brilliant isnt it, although Boston has overall downhill the course isnt easy and the elites are not on the times of say Berlin, so Bens massive pb is even more remarkable, cant wait for his video

I managed a parkrun PB on Saturday, only my third ever sub twenty and exact match of my overall 5k PB from last year.
Marathon training seems to benefit shorter runs, my last two marathons have both been preceded by a 10k PB the week before.
Hopefully a good omen for Manchester. 🤞

Really impressive Ben!!! Huge congrats! You do realise that you ran a 5KM at almost the same pace as Eliud Kipchogue ran the Berlin Marathon (14 min 21.4 per 5KM)!

Nice one Ben. The thing is most of us can’t imagine running at this pace, but we can relate to that feeling when you absolutely nail a race. Great job! Captured that feeling on your face perfectly of the moment you it sinks in you’ve just had a run where everything has just come together as well as you could have hoped for it to have done. Thats a big leap my dude, i think you'll be walking over half the time to the finish line. Would be better if you trained a bit longer for the long distance
