Facts. I've come to realize it's mainly understanding shot composition and the work that goes on in that editing room that dictates the quality of the finished product the most.
Just stumbled across your channel and this vid and ugh, love seeing another bmpcc4k user! Your footage is amazing! I've had my baby, Betty da Baddest, Ms. Betty if ya nasty, for about a year and a half and she has done wonders! Thank you for sharing and you've definitely earned a new subscriber! Keep doing what you do chile!
I feel the same way about my BMPCC4K. I make my shorts with her. My videos for my channel and even now in 2024 I'm very happy, even with all these imperfections that you mentioned. I loved your video! You speak very well! Greetings from Brazil!
I love my BMPCC4K absolutely best bang for the buck camera. I have used many cinema camera’s of every price range, this camera is just amazing for the price. Great review. Love your style.
I did photography for years, and it was one of my few healthy hobbies. I do not know if I have what it takes to make any kind of entertaining video content, but I think I'd like to give it a try before I'm too old to have ideas. Thank you for this review. Beautiful footage, good composition, and a very personal way to talk about it. Subscribed!
I will let you know right now I for the lumix s5 IIx it's awesome!!!! I love it but for some reason I keep pulling out my 4k before I bring out my Lumix.
You’ve made the pocket 4K a part of your signature cinematography! Again, I love your work! I regret not buying the P4K when I was torn between that and the GH5 some years ago. The sensor is unmatched to this day! I still plan to add it to my collection. Great overview!
@@viewfindings aww thanks friend! I absolutely adore your content! I actually sold the GH5 a few months ago but I kept the m43 lenses. Olympus 12-40mm for the workhorse, Lumix 42.5 best portrait lens, Helios and Canon FD of course lol and a myriad of vintage lenses! Soligar lenses are gorgeous vintage glass and slept on! It was way too hard to get rid of the clinical look from the GH5 (even with promist and a moment filter my Sister brought me and vintage glass). I’m sure I could’ve tried harder especially with using resolve but feel that I shouldn’t have to lol! I just should’ve opted for the Blackmagic as I said lol. I’ll always miss the IBIS and battery life of the GH5 but have the baby sister of the GH5 (the gx85) so I still can get that feeling whenever I need to! Im grateful to have gotten my dream cam GH5 years ago which has been the blueprint for so many cams now! It was ahead of it it’s time! I’ll be a Sony, Fuji, Blackmagic girl soon and back to Canon lol! I need to actually shoot more and stop obsessing over stats lol! Could you do a video on some of your favorite glass to use?
Some beautiful shots! Miss my pocket 4k. Crazy, I came across this video, I was enjoying it, and checked comments on a video I just posted and there you were!Just subscribed!
I had my 4k for 3 years... since then I've purchased 2 additional blackmagics, another 4k and 6k pro. I am in the market for a small body camera that can do photo and video... I love mines it definitely paid for itself 10x over.
If you like the P4K, but want a smaller form factor, give the Blackmagic Micro Studio 4K G2 a try. It is the same internals as the P4K, but super tiny. It doesn't do Prores and has no playback and no CFAST and no SD Card (it records to USB-C only). The battery life is better too (60 minutes per LP-E6). The LP-E6 also mounts to the back so it is exposed to the camera operator. If you get an LP-E6 with USB-C, then you can connect an external battery bank to it via USB-C to get longer battery life.
Sis what f stop do you use outside? Do you only stay on the native ISO’s . What would be the cleanest settings you use for outside and inside shooting?
I primarily use the native ISO’s but whether I’m outside or inside, if something looks good to me I will use whatever ISO I need to. I tend to not go above 3200 though
Which lenses do you like to pair with your 4k? I have a 4k and was using Rokinon CINE MFT lenses but last year switched to Meike which I like better. I also have a speed booster and a Sigma 24-70 art lens and I really like that pairing as well.
So glad I found your page! Another black female filmmaker!
I still remember that shot of your silhouette on the hill. That was NUTS!!!
Thank you! One of my personal favorites
@@viewfindings Incredible!
It’s not the camera it’s the content the bmpcc 4K is a cinema cam so regardless it’s color science is up to par

in 11 years it will still be worth it believe that....
Lol I believe it
heck the og bmpcc 1080p will still be worth it in 10 yrs. The question is kind of silly of course. Whatever camera helps you tell your story.
Some beautiful shots! Miss my pocket 4k. Crazy, I came across this video, I was enjoying it, and checked comments on a video I just posted and there you were!Just subscribed!
Ayeee let’s go, I’m a big fan of your channel!
I recently got into video and got a bmpcc4k, I love the camera but learning grading etc is a challenge
Congrats on your camera! I find grading to be challenging as well but thankfully there are a lot of resources to learn on your own, at your own pace
Awesome video. Amen to all of it, and beautiful footage as well. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for watching!
I own one 6 months now and wow my life has changed
Truly a game changer!
Beautiful video
Thank you!
The BM made me want to create. It is a superb machine. The screen. The image. Just gorgeous.
Such a special camera!
Appreciate the channel - just subscribed
Appreciate you!
I love my BMPCC 4K, but eyeing the Pyxis 6K
It looks pretty cool

Sounds like you’ve got a fully loaded kit!
Shoutout to the algorithm, subbed! 🤝
Shout out to the algorithm, indeed! I’m sad there isn’t a high five emoji but i appreciate you 🙌🏾
Of course!
Exactly! lol
Great video 🤙🏽

I haven’t had a chance to try sigma lenses yet. I mainly use Meike lenses
