Great video, I have done this trip a few times, once with my brother and once with my wife, I only live in Antigonish, so it is close for me to drive down and do it in a day. We are organizing a trip down in a few weeks with family and friends on out ATV's, the views are great and it is an easy ride for even novice riders, just be conscious that is multi-use for everyone from walking to horseback riding. Thanks for taking us along on another ride, the RZR looks awesome.
Super fun trip, thanks for sharing. I think imo the one major drawback to that Razor is cargo space. Its a no bueno for me. Ive got a midsize Ranger 570.
John Cutter makes a really nice one hand arborist saw, my brother bought one - without a doubt, the best little saw on the market to your ATV or Side by side, should check them out, small package, but extremally powerful, I take it whenever I am exploring new trails
Got to try this next summer. We're in Sydney area so can do it as a day trip. I don't know what you got for a saw but the battery ones are good and aren't messy like my Stihl. Hope you have saw chaps. They're cheap insurance
@@EastCoastATV same saw I got years ago. A really good saw. Starts easy even after sitting months. It lives in the box on back of the pioneer with the chaps. I should have boots too, but I don't
I've posted quite a few of them on the Nova Scotia GPX ATV File Exchange on Facebook. There are tons of good tracks on that page you may want to check out.
Hello a few guys from work are wondering if we could leave by the causeway and go to chetticamp then margaree then wreck coverage and back any help would be appreciated thankyou
Hello! You can't leave from the causeway anymore it's blocked off but you can leave from close to it. You can park your vehicles at the Creignish Community Centre which has room for several vehicles and trailers, and it's right on the old railbed. You can leave from there and definitely get to Cheticamp, wreck Cove etc. It's a long way from there though, you'll definitely need to do a few days. Check out this map of mine online and zoom into Creignish and you'll see where you can park and some routes you can take to Cheticamp etc. www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=1F3RjbwcaWpqnBp6nnSusvgeXaV0&usp=sharing
Thanks. You are not allowed to ride ATV's on most paved roads but we usually only ride short distances and it's tolerated in those areas. If you drive slow and respectfully people generally don't have a problem with it.
@@glenhynes3593 Not around here. I've never even seen one that wide in person. Machines like that are good for wide open spaces but not for trail riding, they're far too wide for that. 64" machines are pushing it on woods trails even.
@@glenhynes3593 Your machine is not typical. Most ATV's are typically 48" or narrower with the exception of a few specialty ones, and most SxS are 64 or narorower. There are the odd wider ones but not many, not here anyway. The trails in the video are in Nova Scotia. We have many trails here restricted to 66" and some even less.

You're lucky to be so close. I wish I could do that trip a few times a year. I might do it if I lived closer. Have a great trip!
We did a short day trip up to inverness from port hood and back one day in the summer! That's one of the nicest rail beds we've been on
That's a nice run for sure.
Beautiful scenery . It’s on my list of places to ride. 👍.
Thanks for watching, and posting. I hope you get the chance to do it sooner, rather than later.
Great trip ! Lots to see for sure , you have video lots of places for me to ride when I move back someday.
Thanks! I hope you get to do them all. Thanks for watching.

I agree. I absolutely need more cargo space. A Commander or something like that is more my style.

Gotta love a honda pioneer
They're a great machine. Lots of room and Honda durability.

Got a Stihl ms170 for cutting trees that fell in my yard after hurricane Fiona. I have been borrowing chaps but I have to get my own.

Thanks for the awesome video. It's been in our plans for a while and Egypt Falls sealed the deal when the wife seen it.
I'm glad you liked it. Egypt Falls is worth the trip in to see. Thanks for watching. I hope your wife likes it in person.
Great video as always Patrick! Are you doing something for your Quebec trip?
Thanks Rod. I totally plan on doing a video or two for Quebec, but I don't know when yet.
Is there anyway to get a map of your rides

Thank you Stephen that's good to know. I will most likely be going back next summer or fall.

I am looking for maps of the trails in NS. What do you recommend?
If you have a Facebook account, I suggest joining the Nova Scotia GPX Trail File Exchange. There are tons of gps tracks you can download.
Awesome videos. Thank you. Would you be willing to share your Google maps of trails in Cape Breton?
Give me your email address I'll email them to you
@@EastCoastATV can I jump in on this too? I'm going up to the island in august
Lol I live 5k from Egypt falls and have never been on any trails. I need an ATV.

To keep Jeeps and trucks off the trail
