Plus a grim reaper going up my forearm and the whole thing was "ghost pepper" especially the fingers, I couldn't even get to the grim reaper because I got really light-headed and pale like twice which has never happen to me from all my tattoos. Going back in 2 weeks
At the end of the day it's about how much pain you can tolerate. Also, the Tattoo Artist will either have a break during or you can ask for a break if the pain's too much
I got my whole hand fingers, knuckles, and lower arm done! Your video really helped me get an idea of what to expect. Thankfully for me personally, I would rate it like a four and some spaces eight. The majority was easy and painless, with the sides of my hand being annoying, and the knuckles being a little more painful.😅 Super worth it though !!! can’t wait to get my other hand done ❤
I have a tattoo behind my ear and normally I tend to keep things pretty symmetrical but the ear was all ghost pepper. And it swelled?! So absolutely not getting one behind my ear probably ever. I've got plenty of real estate everywhere else. I'd rather got my ribs done again.
I tattooed my left hand, knuckles and fingers myself, outline and stippling first then line touch up. Then color packing and the black packing since I blacked out my finger knuckle, then the touch up. On a scale of 1-10 I would say outline was a 3 for all of the, stippling 2 then color and black packing a 4. The white highlights on the peony flower was about a 4.5. White ink doesn’t hurt more or less than anything else. It’s that as tattoo artists we always pack the darker colors first going from dark to light. So when it’s time for white we are going over areas that have typically been worked already so it’s tender. But I do have a high pain tolerance, like I tattooed my own left palm and it was like a 5
Top of the hand ain’t bad I got a full skeleton hand once it gets to your fingers that’s where the pain starts and it gets worst the closer it gets to your nails
I got my left hand done first 😢😅, promised myself to Never do something that painful again willingly, next week, due to a feeling of me unbalanced got my right hand done😢😅🎉

I feel your pain and may I suggest getting some Mad Rabbit Soothing Gel - that saved me. It took away the burning feel that my hand felt and helped the healing process ❤

@@calisthenicsmachine9725sternum definitely sucks but for me the solar plexus was 1000% the worst pain Ive ever felt. Im 6’0 and 155lbs so i could literally feel my soul leaving my body😂
Don't let the fear of the pain keep you from doing something you really want! Definitely talk to your artist ahead of time to see if they have recommendations, but in the REALLY tough spots I've used a numbing gel called "hush." And you put it on like an hour before, let it sit, and then clean it off before the tattoo! It helped a lot for me in those super tricky areas but again! Talk to your artists to see if they have any recommendations or don't want you to use any products! GET THAT TATTOO!!!!

No weird at all. The black and gray was rather easy to heal and only made life slightly difficult. The color hand was a whole different story. That one took a good 10 day before I full use of my hand. I wouldn't change a thing and I love both of them!

Your tat artist did it right then. You don't do it too deep. If you do it deep it fking hurts.

I just got my hand tattoo Saturday. The artist was awesome, gentle hands; didn't really hurt honestly.
Dig your tats. Crazy how different pain is for people I literally did not feel anything other than vibrations on my hand

Behind my ear felt like someone was drilling a cavity from the outside in! That was my one and done.
