I got one, they are reliable , fast and great fun.The advantages of turbojet are clear, you can't get weed's around prop. Also it is a reliable and maintenance free power system. with a prop and shaft you got to grease it up occasionally. So highly recommend this boat.

I have one of these , so far it's a great fun, fast reliable boat and cheap at £50. The Turbojet motor is better than a prop because you can't get weeds n'stuff around the prop.The motor system is also very reliable to date, all in all a great boat highly recomended. Would be a good idea to bring out a bigger one say twice as big with same Turbojet power.

gotta have the kayak...even with the self righters some times the power gets cut off...i run Cats on 6s and they flip my proboat sonicwave self rights but not with a big battery so i run only 6000mah 6s and two 8000mah 3s ...when i ran a 10000mah 6s before i ran it i put it upside down and it wouldnt self right ...so its always good to have a back up rescue boat or a kayak or you'll be swimming LOL...i have a great contraption to get planes out of trees...ive rescued a few of mine and other peoples planes out of trees..gotta have back up because do do happens..
TyXin are making some great value boats at the moment the smaller brushed jet boat TY 725 is also awesome and quicker than the brushed motor suggests and a lot quicker than the similar smaller wltoys jetboat ' The 725 also has selfrighting and a little bit of reverse! I have the jet boat and a tug like in the previous video , this is next on the list .You have to love a good value relatively cheap boat! Especially in this day and age of inflation Just to add generally jet boats wont self right without water in the jet, so dont drop them in upsde down straight away!
Honestly quite impressed with that little boat, i have the mini proboat jet boat that’s heavily upgraded but this definitely peaks my interest at that price point. Wish it had some sort of reverse though but no big deal

Like I wrote in the previous video, you can't make a self righting multihull, that's for monohulls only. It's like trying to roll a square football vs a round one.
It's not a flywheel. It's an outrunner motor. The same that is used in quadcopters. They are cheaper and produce a lot of torque. Rather than the magnets being on the stator they are on the can. To selfright with the toque of the motor it has to be equally buoyant on top and bottom and have a bigger caopy that makes it lean to one side. You also need to put the battery on the side of the rotation to help it flip.
I have no idea why I thought that was a flywheel. I knew better as I was rewatching our video and just thought…. Well, at least I was wrong in the video, haha!! It looked like a flywheel at first glance, but I knew better once we got back home with it. I appreciate your knowledge and comment here, in case anyone was curious!! 👍💯🙏⚓️

I brought a proboat recoil but hardly ever use it because lakes where I live have tons of weeds that get caught in the prop. Thinking of getting a jet boat!
Jet boats are much better about skimming through and over weeds and muck in the water than a traditional boat. However if you want to never get stuck (almost) consider an air boat or swamp boat. Not many options on the market, and sadly the current “best in class” is super load but very fun! 👍💯😎⚓️
Your review got me to buy two of them. One blue and one white. The shipping was fast. But the blue one didn't function right out of the box. The white one ran for about ten minutes on the water until it shut down completely and no longer functions at all. It handled good and was fun for those ten minutes. Banggood hasn't responded as of now. It's not worth it, in my opinion.
They finally responded and sent me one replacement ESC even though I have two ESC's that don't work. The replacement ESC took 2 months to get. It won't control the steering servo, and it only spins the motor in reverse. Sooo disappointed in this purchase. 👎
That's a pretty sweet boat. It's really quick and stable. I really like the look too. I wish I knew how fast it is. You know, just cause. I checked Banggood and it says it comes with a 2000mah 3s lipo. That's pretty awesome. I had a small problem with the price at first. I'm not sweating it too much though, but the promo code is $24 off. When you enter the code in, the price of the boat gets jacked up from $89.99 to $99.99. Not sure what that means. So in reality it's $12.48 off. If you think the out the door price doesn't add up, that's why. Not a hater. Like I said, it's a pretty sweet boat and it's 3s powered. Who knows, you might get away with putting a 4s in there. If you don't care it blows up, it might be fun to try. 😅 That was pretty cool when it went under. I thought it was gone.
So what was the actual run time? Abby said doing the doughnuts it was 2 minutes, seemed like a good total run or was there battery left? Looked cool, but I really wasn't sure until now!

Same here, that's just the so called 'bell' where the magnets are. It has some weight, so on a V-shaped hull it might help with self-righting, but on a twin like this, no go

Generally, most boats use the same parts unless it’s for the body itself. In which case I’d just buy a whole extra boat at this price and have a backup for everything. At times parts are available, but I’ve never “broken” anything on a boat itself other than the hull and that was only because it was very cheap plastic. Hope my reply helps some! The main point is that it’s extremely rare in my experience to ever need parts for my boats. Happy RCing! 👍💯😎⚓️

Anything that uses a separate ESC will be pretty maintainable with generic parts. I got given an old warranty return brushed boat when I started working for a sports and toy shop. It had a dead combined receiver+motor driver board (which just used cheap relays for on and off for the motors). The NiMH battery was in a decaying state too. I swapped out that for a FlySky receiver, some cheap eBay brushed ESCs and a new lipo. And it works great now. Not as good as a more modern boat with brushed motors, but still loads of fun for about $30 I spent on the parts. My plan was to add a flight controller board, GPS and a camera, and run it along local rivers, creeks, but I just haven't had time since our drought ended and we got water in anything.

That's an outrunner style motor, I don't believe it's a flywheel.
Same here, that's just the so called 'bell' where the magnets are. It has some weight, so on a V-shaped hull it might help with self-righting, but on a twin like this, no go

Generally, most boats use the same parts unless it’s for the body itself. In which case I’d just buy a whole extra boat at this price and have a backup for everything. At times parts are available, but I’ve never “broken” anything on a boat itself other than the hull and that was only because it was very cheap plastic. Hope my reply helps some! The main point is that it’s extremely rare in my experience to ever need parts for my boats. Happy RCing! 👍💯😎⚓️

Anything that uses a separate ESC will be pretty maintainable with generic parts.
I got given an old warranty return brushed boat when I started working for a sports and toy shop. It had a dead combined receiver+motor driver board (which just used cheap relays for on and off for the motors). The NiMH battery was in a decaying state too.
I swapped out that for a FlySky receiver, some cheap eBay brushed ESCs and a new lipo. And it works great now. Not as good as a more modern boat with brushed motors, but still loads of fun for about $30 I spent on the parts.
My plan was to add a flight controller board, GPS and a camera, and run it along local rivers, creeks, but I just haven't had time since our drought ended and we got water in anything.
