I think that you should not mix politics with beauty pageants. The girls were affected when deciding between Donald & Hillary, the pressure was strong and the strongest weight was taken by Miss USA to be her country and she was booed by what she could not express herself well.
One important thing to note is I am a little bit surprised why american audiences don't respect other people's opinions although american claim that they observes democracy. I don't think it is a bad question but impolite audiences.

It's a very relevant question because I think the advocacy of this pageant is world peace. And whether we like it or not, the next US Pres will play a very big role in World Peace. The contestants, who are prepared and intelligent to prepare should have read something about the US Pres contenders. They should not be judged based on their choice but based on how they have defended their answers plus poise and confidence in doing so. There should have been a headset that prevented other contestants from hearing the first answers though.

For me my top winners would be Puerto Rico, USA, and Philippines. They've expressed well with their answers. Miss Philippines did well in final round (with logical answer) while Indonesian (and Thai) use survival skills. I think Miss Puerto Rico will have the bright future but she did not come to MGI in the right time. As i said Miss grand 2013 is Puerto Rico, so it is not easy to see that Puerto Rico get the crown again (I guess). I think Miss Thailand will never get miss grand international within 6 year because Mr Nawat want to make it to be internationally recognized pageant. The aim is not giving the crown to Miss Thailand.

Im a Filipino and i have never been to USA, but based from what i have witnessed from presidential debate, i could say that Hillary is more credible to be the Us president. I once also read an article about Trumph being against the Filipinos residing in US, i somehow hated him for having that point of view. Hearing Ms. Philippines' answer, i was well convinced and she totally won me over with her explanation. She should've won the title having provided the wittiest answer and the most sincere explanation rather the the winner who gave the safest, cliche' and most predictable statement. Winner should have that voice who could influence others, the way i was convinced with Ms. Philippines' statement. One more thing, we've lost the essence of the pageant, the question just divided our thoughts having politics as the subject.
Nicole is one of the smartest filipina queens and the one of best great speakers popular in the Philippines. Among the ladies, obviously Nicole Cordoves is the most intelligent and brave. . For me my top winners would be Puerto Rico, USA, and Philippines. They've expressed well with their answers. But due to the audience reactions, all candidates are being pressured to what they should say. But hey, if you are confident to what you say, speak up. Anyways, I got goosebumps when the Philippines answered and I didn't expect that Indonesia won, her answer's just the same with others.

Philippines gave the most witty answer, yet polarizing. it may not be the most popular choice but she defended her choice well.
Puerto Rico gave the most genuine answer from a woman's perspective. Cliche but rather diplomatic because she used women's traits.
These two gave the most credible answer for an inappropriate question.

Ugly political question. Philippines lost and was booed because she chose D. Trumph. No matter how she explained herself out, her honest answer cost her the title by not choosing HRC. Miss Thailand was pretty too and of course I'm happy for Indonesia for taking the crown. Ika really worked hard for this. She chose HRC and would walk hand in hand with her, for the kill...hehe! Congrats Indonesia!
I don't think it is an ugly political question; instead, ugly political audiences in U.S.A. Miss Philippines did well in final round (with logical answer) while Indonesian (and Thai) use survival skills. Actually for me Puerto Rico should win or 1st-runner up because her answer is also logical and she is so beautiful. Again, most judges are american and most audiences is american as well. May be the judges think that Indonesian is more beautiful but how about Puerto Rico?

I think Miss Puerto Rico will have the bright future but she did not come to MGI in the right time. As i said Miss grand 2013 is Puerto Rico, so it is not easy to see that Puerto Rico get the crown again (I guess). I think Miss Thailand will never get miss grand international within 6 year because Mr Nawat want to make it to be internationally recognized pageant. The aim is not giving the crown to Miss Thailand.
This reminds me of Miss Congeniality where everyone answered World Peace and the audience clapped. And when ‘Gracie Lou’ answered harsher punishment for parole violators, everyone rolled their eyes. 😅😅😅

Im a Filipino and i have never been to USA, but based from what i have witnessed from presidential debate, i could say that Hillary is more credible to be the Us president. I once also read an article about Trumph being against the Filipinos residing in US, i somehow hated him for having that point of view. Hearing Ms. Philippines' answer, i was well convinced and she totally won me over with her explanation. She should've won the title having provided the wittiest answer and the most sincere explanation rather the the winner who gave the safest, cliche' and most predictable statement. Winner should have that voice who could influence others, the way i was convinced with Ms. Philippines' statement.
One more thing, we've lost the essence of the pageant, the question just divided our thoughts having politics as the subject.

This is a Beauty Pageant and there is no right or wrong answer. Q and A is just another test of Grace and Beauty under pressure. The Pageant Organizer including the Host should have done something in controlling the audience. Contestant just answer the question and expressed their personal opinion. The event was about Love, Peace and War and yet hatreds and "booing" filled the whole place... what a shame!!!

Wtf! Very disappointing. The final Q&A portion was worse than a circus show. The audience just made the show look very awful and cheap. Most of the people here were narrow-minded and bully. Their behavior towards the girls is just so terrible. Poor them. I thought the pageant promotes peace and unity. No wonder war and violence is present on every corner of this planet because of people who has no respect for others rights and opinion.
