I went to this concert back in '88. Cinderella opened for them and they were great. AC/DC was amazing, I was 17 then. Angus kicking down the rocket door had everyone going nuts. I was in the 5th row and caught some Angus sweat when Brian brought him into the crowd on his shoulders. You will never forget an AC/DC concert.
Goddamn, Angus has balls of absolute steel. All it takes is one errant landing jumping out of that prop missile and he could have blown out an ankle or a knee. What a legend to pull off insane shows like that night after night.
I remember the Heetseeker tour at Long Beach Arena California I recognized it wasn't Malcolm up there but a goofy look a like that later turned out to be Stevie Young. Also traditional For Those About To Rock Cannons were different. The guns were more like war ship cannons instead. Oh but it was baddass cool for sure.
I was there at that concert too we thought Malcolm looked strange turned out to be Stevie yes For those about to Rock wasn't the traditional canons more like long barrel guns but cool looking for sure. I think White Lion opened for ACDC
Hello! I would just like to let You know that I think these custom music videos You make are absolutely amazing, I'm a big fan! I watch your She's Got Balls video almost every day. It sucks so much that You can't upload the TTWIWRNR video, that is my favorite song from BUYV. If I can have one request, would You consider making a music video of this kind for Shake Your Foundations? Anyway, keep up the great work, Rock 'n' Roll will never die! 🤘⚡😈
Wouldn't have made any sense at all. When they played Donington they were on the "Razor's Edge Tour/Monsters of Rock" and the whole rocket thing was part of the Blow Up Your Video Tour. Watch the "Heatseeker" music video, it was that album's main track.
I read yesterday where someone said the Angel's or Angel City as they were known in Septic Yank land because prior name taken by Richard U believe. Anyway .bigger than AC,/DC at one stage..Im thinkin no f'n way..dude.

Same. But I was in Cedar Rapids. That Rocket coming out of the floor was like magic back then.
Has to be one of the greatest intros they've ever done live!
I thought was Malcolm on the Rhythm guitar!!
Holy shit, stevie's looks like Mal on this gig
Malcolm was in rehab at the time right?
@@KD-nb3mpthat is correct RIP Malcom!
Looks just like him. Rip Mal

Such a great entrance and opening song! Brian sounds amazing
I went to this concert in 1988 in Australia ❤

That was Stevie filling in for Mal.
My first AC/DC concert in 88. Great fucking show!
was at the lexington show. incredible audio. need the whole thing like this.
I was in Hannover at the time superb concert
Is that Stevie?
Stevie sounds fucking ace here ⚡
An easy way to make out if it's Malcolm or Stevie is the foot tap. Stevie uses his left foot, Malcolm was constant and steady with his right foot.

I will see what I can do with Shake Your Foundations, thing is that there is only one video source existing of that song, but I will have it in mind
@@tekka018 Thanks a lot, You're the man!!!
awesome!!!!
Great video!
All Nice Videos
Are all these shots even from performing Heatseeker? If not that's still cool. The audio is live.
Yes, all shots from the same song, I try not to mess up with "fake" video syncs if I have enough bootlegs to work with
@@tekka018 Impressive. I salute you, sir. Thank you for clarifying.
Hubieran hecho esto de la capsula más seguido, sobretodo en el donington hubiera quedado perfecto

Stivie on Rythmen Guittar?
Yup
Who's the drummer?
Voice is cooked
Is that Malcolm or Stevie playing here?
It's Stevie. I think Malcolm was on rehab during the whole 1988 tour.
I don't remember the missile at Birmingham NEC - was it just on the US leg?
