4:53 I realize now that I didn't explain why this is important! Her reiterating that she loves Kosmo is important because love is a necessary component in order to connect to any given primal source (assuming you weren't born connected to it) and be able to perform more advanced feats. for example: Callum connects to the sky but still can't automatically make mage wings, he first needed to take a leap of faith in the name of love
@@AngelesLunamoth I agree! I think it's that and emotional understanding with oneself. Callum only learned the Sky Arcanum through him understanding his grief for his father, King Harrow. While elves are born with that understanding, they still must be able to reconcile those emotions to actually use their magic.
I think Astrid is more upset at how Cosmo was content to let Callum and Rayla leave without telling them the pearl they brought was fake. I understand that him lying at first was because Callum would not have been brave enough to perform the ritual to cleanse himself of dark magic if he had told the truth right away, but he could have said something afterword. Especially since they could’ve possibly gone back to Katolis and gotten the real pearl, which would be annoying to go back and forth. But when it’s the fate of the world, I think they could get over the inconvenience. So maybe her comment about it “not being enough to watch the world” is more of a dig at Cosmo for being content to simply observe future timelines with his new power while refusing to use that wisdom to help anyone else. Maybe there’s a scene before this where she confronts the elder and Cosmo about how they should’ve warned them and should probably be doing more to help the world, only for her ideas to be shot down. Maybe then she decides to leave the starscrapper in order to help team Zym. So when she tells Cosmo she loves him, it’s because she knows she will likely be banished for removing her blindfold and allowing sunlight to touch her eyes, and will probably never see him again. It would be an interesting parallel to Rayla, who was also banished for breaking her oath despite it proving to have been the right thing to do. Also some people were speculating that since the sun is technically a star, her looking directly at it could give her some unique healing ability.
Yeah I think they did. Even though they would have both been born male I think they are probably fraternal twins otherwise they would both have wings and/or Vitiligo.
The animation is beautiful! And also a super interesting look at the Celestial Elves, which I wasn't expecting. I LOVED Season 6 and thought it expanded the world in great ways and subverted my expectations in the best way. As well as finally delivering on many plotpoints. I am SO pumped that S7 is going to release so soon. I thought I'd have to wait another year. This hasn't happened since Seasons 1 and 2! I love this series, all of it, so much.
Sometimes to do the right thing you must break the rules and Astrid will do that to help her friends although that means no see her brother again and lost her sight.

Exactly, Callum understood Ocean Arcanum when he found out there parts of himself he can't see or control just accept them.
Astrid no longer needs a blindfold not to see!
I just hope Astrid don't lost her sight
@@isabelamelendezcarvajal4908I'm afraid she did. She's gonna be part of the "blind hero" trope.

That makes sense! I hope we get to see how the Celestial elves will deal with this revelation for sure!
It's a great theory
Yeah, Kosmo lying to Callum just "put a bandaid on a broken leg"
Your theory is still great
My only thought with Astrid right now is "😑 Dude, stop looking at the sun. You're going to damage your eyes"
3:00 I think the writers did confirm that they’re twins, with Astrid being the older twin.
Yeah I think they did. Even though they would have both been born male I think they are probably fraternal twins otherwise they would both have wings and/or Vitiligo.
Yeah, that's what I assumed. Fraternal twins.
Astrid’s a girl and Cosmo is a boy. It would be impossible for them to be identical twins.
@@annajoellecloss3831 yeah but Astrid's transgender so she would have been born a boy
They have different hair too.

Alright, the animation is gorgeous!
I don't have any theories just yet.
But you make valid points!
:D
What if by going blind she gains a connection to darkness
Can we just have a moment of silence to whoever edited this video?!🤩🤩🙌
**holds moment of silence**
screams: THANK YOUUUU! ✨
Eu espero que no final da 7 temporada Callum e Rayla fiquem junto
There already back togethor since season 6 though ?
O que Callum y Rayla se casen al final de la 7 temporada si tendremos un salto en el tiempo
I don't know where I found the information about that Astrid may be trans🏳️⚧️...
I think Astrid is voiced by a man-to-woman VA.
