Show us a mockup of a collection!!!! Man, really digging your entire vibe and store from start to finish. I always hit this channel up to see whats new and if there is anything that will help me while I am starting up my business. I'm in no way a fashion guru nor do I have any type of formal training in any one area. This has just become a passion for me.
Dude, Just wanted to reach out and say thank you! I am 57, have some basic design skills and am learning how to become a screen printer. Your videos are great and have helped me quite a bit. Thanks again for all you do! I am a fan and will continue to follow your videos and posts.
Hey Lee, thank you ever so much for sharing these videos brotha! I really do appreciate you a lot and am always looking forward to your next video. Cheers brotherman!!!
Great Video just started my own small business. one question when purchasing what's the difference between personal and commercial license if these are just mock ups?
When getting shirts printed, it's the same size image used from Small through 5X unless you're willing to pay a lot more for extra screens, so your mock-ups should reflect that
Good work Lee! Amazing to see your progress now! I really need to start making my own mockups, and this gave me some help to relearn that technique! Would love to see a tutorial with this technique but on a more wrinkled garment to work with highlights and shadows, making your mockup look more realistic.
Oh man, that new moving side camera angle is so nice!! I`m digging the blue background colour. Awesome tutorial dude! Thanks a lot! Good skill to have . I was using an online crappy pay for site :)) That black dahlia killer hoodie looks sick btw uh.. that end clap transition! had to replay it! Spot on!
Thanks for the video. I’m wondering did you have an issue with text being brought over from illustrator bring pixelated? I created a shirt but it looks fine for smart object but when I save and it goes to the shirt it is pixelated

Hey Lee, how come when I do the step to copy my design from AI to the Photoshop template, the logo always pixelated and doesn't look crisp and clean like yours does? I've done it like 20 times, always with the same result. Any ideas here?
Can you show how to make that final mock up portion for the client with the swatches and everything I would love to use that layout for my clothing company I plan to start
great video. any recommendations on the a mockup making it to exact scale on a mockup. For example, if a client wants the back design at 12 inches, can you make scale it accordingly to be sure the mock up shows it as if it were 12 inches wide?
Add a little guasian, tiny bit of ripple, and liquify it. But I get where you're coming from. Wish I would've found this about 8 months ago after I made templates for 50 different apparel products!! Spending a day, you said? Major understatement!! hahah. However, I refuse to outsource. It's something I need to get past. So my main business is custom work for businesses, brands, clubs, etc. So a bit different than the brand. People want different materials, weights, looks, etc so no way I can do them all, or know what the next person is going to want. So I do them per order. Typcially people get one manufacturer or maybe a couple if they're getting shirts and hoodies or hats or zip ups. So question, I'm sure this site doesn't have every apparel product I have used or going to use. Then I might end up still having to do my own template. Stick to doing per order? Or try this and see where it takes me. I kill it in photoshop and illustrator, but time saved it money earned. So I need to figure this part out also. Any help wouldn't go un appreciated.. P.S. I found our first major difference. I will never touch an apple or mac product. I believe you feel the same vise versa. hahah. No hard feelings? bahah. Thanks againg Lee.
that double camera set up is dope. slider putting in the work lol. also that's definitely a good way to show a bad ass mockup to stand out in a relatively easy way.
Dude, I love your videos. I am just starting out on this adventure and gathering all the education I can. Quick question, why do guys use Illustrator and Photoshop? Is it normal practice to design the logo in Illustrator and then the mock ups in PhotoShop? Why both? Thanks!
Hey awesome video buddy! So far, of nearly a hundred different videos I've watched yours is the absolute best! I heard what you said about the excessive time spent in photoshop & that's where I'm at now, about to pull all my hair out ha ha ha. I bought Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop about 2 months ago for this purpose & figured I'd just teach myself how to create a template & mock up, how hard could it be, right? Needless to say 2 months later here I am & still no mock up or template... I've got many questions but will keep it to 3 ha ha. Is it necessary to use a template every time you create a mock up? What is the difference between creating a template and creating a mock up? Is the file type for a mock up the same as the file type for a template? Again, great video! I'll watch it over & over! Thanks for your time!
Corel draw is vector based software like illustrator, so it wouldn't work for this. I highly recommend making the investment into adobe, I know it sucks but it's the industry standard and you'll get a lot farther with all of the learning resources out there for it.
I was so lucky to buy this bundle on a sale just for 10$ and it legit worth it! It really has everything you need! They are not the most beautiful mockups but they do the job beyond great! This is the first time I'm writing here a comment, and I'm watching your videos for quite some time now, and you do great work on how to shoot and explain things and I've learned how to screenprint because of you, and thank you for that! Keep up the great work and I hope you get a filthy rich man (or whatever you want)! Peace!
Please talk more about licenses. Creative market is brutal with their costs when it comes to an extended commercial license. I personally am building an ecommerce website for the merch that I locally sell. I have been unable to come across anyone who is kind enough to let me use their mockups under a regular license so that I can showcase and sell my designs/merch on my website.
I learned a lot on this episode. I've been doing mockups for years with bundles purchased through Etsy and these are so much better. I'd love to know how you created your color bar for the bottom.
Ok just bought this bundle, I'm really missing something! I have years of experience in the apparel and graphic deign field. I downloaded the zip and there's nothing there but some documents.
