I still have a manual for this beast. I feel bad about it, but I lied and sent a letter to SCI back in the late 80's saying I got one used and wanted a manual and they just flat out sent me one at no charge. And yes, the normal 3-prong bound vinyl (?) cover manual w/ printed spine and clear cover.
Also, I remember a story about XTC and Todd Rundgren buying one of these at a music store in NYC for the SKYLARKING recording sessions and having to lug it several blocks to the studio.

A wonderful instrument. Lovely sounds. Big and heavy. It used to be very expensive. Not everyone could afford such a miracle.

Around 1997 I sold a like brand new Prophet 10 in its original Blue case on wheels
for about € 1700,- I still think about this big mistake pretty often :)

Do you own a prophet 5 as well? I heard that the prophet 10 even though has a prophet 5 voice board , sounds different than a 5 due to its output stage , do you know anything about this ?
There is just a little but of sweetness missing in the rev4 compared to this P10.
