- This track is using sounds only from The Schmidt Synthesizer, one of the best and most unique synthesizers ever made. Only 50 units will be manufactured. The Schmidt is using discrete analog components for filters and oscillators while envelopes and LFO´s are controlled by software. Composed and produced by www.firechild.se

First time I have heard this beast.
Very 'Vangelis-like' sounds. Crisp, clean but spacious.

The programming lay-out on this synth is top-notch. Everything is so clearly marked and diagrammed. Certainly there are so many possibilities you could get lost for weeks programming a sound. But you wouldn't get lost in the architecture, only the decision making. It's a well thought-out piece of kit that most of us will only dream of having.

Another great track! My bucket-list synth! I just ordered a Modal 002 to join my OB6 and Voyager and am making a goal of a Schmidt in the coming years. Again, great track and I'm happy for you that you get to enjoy such a great synth as the mighty Schmidy! :)

Just listened to this again after hearing the Moog One composition you uploaded, both amazing, and you bring out the best qualities of both. It would be splitting hairs for me. I have the Schmidt and had pre-ordered the Moog One, but after hearing some demos I decided to opt for a Baloran The River. After hearing your Moog One song however, I may have to reconsider.
I still implore you to get your hands on a Knifonium. As you probably know, Jonte is situated in Finland and might lend you one of his if implored to do so ( I'd lend you mine, except it is sitting here in the USA, and would be quite a bit to ship if you were even interested). It needs to be showcased using your ability to bring the best out of a synth, and you DO!
IMHO, please jump on the bandwagon and create your own synth for the world. I will put up some money.

Wow ! Mindblowing synth and melodies, it can emulate Kitaro, Tangerine Dream, JM-Jarre, Kraftwerk, Vangelis, YMO and many other legendary synth wizards. Cool fx on the videos. That synth is my dream, I like better than the Moog One.

Sounds great and very analog but.......The New Arturia Polybrute can do the same thing (and more... the morphing is superb) for just a fraction of the price of this one

I think I might have to have to flog my CS-80 and jump ship...
I did, my Schmidt arrives tomorrow at long last and the CS-80 is still happily ensconced in my music room.
As an update to this, I can get seriously low-end out of my CS-80 and JX10, but despite many hours with my Schmidt, I cannot get close to either of the aforementioned. Saying that, it is a thing of beauty and it'll likely be buried with me...

Looks promising but how it is compares to arturia matrixbrute?
Different league. 8 voices instead of 1, full analog and a lot more buttons to play with.
But when the Polybrute costs 1/10th of this, it becomes hard to justify the extra price.
Why only 50 units??

Because it was hand made by one guy and a little team.
In addition, he must make a quality testing for each instrument.
