Sewing a buttonhole by hand can seem complicated and intimidating, but by breaking the process down into smaller steps, that can be overcome, and just about anyone can learn to create at least a decent buttonhole. The first and one of the most important steps is carefully laying out your buttonholes. In this video we'll be working with a cloth sample meant to mimic a coat front on which to practice our buttonholes.
