Which bike would be good for climbing hills where I live there is a lot of hills

Mid-Drive bikes are an excellent choice for hill climbing in general. They often have a higher torque rating then rear hub bikes.
500W - 750W or higher rear hub bikes are also capable hill climbers, but choosing one with the highest torque rating will be helpful (80+ Nm of torque)
Another key asset for hill climbing is the bike's geo, which will make pedaling pleasant and more effective. As well as the drivetrain, with 8-9 speed bike, and higher ratio gears will assist greatly with acceleration and maintaining speed.

Some aftermarket information would be good also like upgrade and batteries or shocks for bicycles that don't have shocks or any other aftermarket parts

I like your website, but I'd like to see the bikes ranked by expert review scores instead of random users. Maybe some background on the companies producing these e bikes would be helpful too, like how long they've been around. I'm hesitant to buy from some of these startups that have only be on the scene for a year

Thanks for watching! The BikeRide score includes all of the expert reviews available online, and factors them into the final score that is displayed on the bike review page. We also include user reviews, but they are not weighted as heavily in the calculation of the score. The primary sources of info for the score are expert reviews. If you want to know more about the score check out this article for a full breakdown of how it is created.

I can understand why you are hesitant to purchase from a start-up; many e-bike companies are here and gone again within the first years of existence. It's always best to go with a company with a proven track record. So that is a good suggestion. I know our writers try to include background information on the bike producers and take a hard look at the longevity of the bikes, as mentioned by other reviewers and users. We look hard for the negative attributes of every bike! but we will look at including more info on the review pages as we update.
      Thanks for your comment!

What do you think of the comuter bike magic Cycle. Do all bikes come with the battery and charger?
      Thanks Brett

@@bretthuebner6255 We had a chance to test one of the Magic Cycle bikes, and it performed fairly well. The bike was powerful and comfortable to ride. They seemed to have a similar quality level to other bikes in the same price range.
Any good e-bike should come with a battery and charger, I have not seen any that sell them separate.
