  • A harrowing fight between a weedy yellow guy and a big teal guy with a massive hammer. You already probably know who's gonna win, but hey, it's about the journey, not the destination.
Rendered with Pixar's Renderman. god i love renderman so much. it's so good. :D

Why isn't this guy hired by Disney or something already?

Renderman is pretty badass! And much, MUCH simpler to use than one's could think! :) Great combat choregraphy, lad!

Animation and aesthetic approach is real nice. The combat makes use of weight and such which is good.
Only problem is the yellow Guy's first swing and how he runs with his sword. The first swing was hard to comprehend due to the sudden camera switch and neutral distance as well as reach of the character and his sword. It seems too short to be swung at that point and it can't be argued that he closed distance cuz he is still standing a significant distance away after the camera switched.
That angle after he got up tho was real sick.
Edit: Forgot to turn on sound, it seems the green guy blocked it and moved behind the camera. I guess this is one of those scenes where you need both Sparks and sound to fully comprehend.

Yeah, because Reinhardt isn't actually built for damage. Sure, he's got a big hammer, but it doesn't hit hard.
