I work and travel across arab countries, it's part of my job. Iraq, Jordan, Oman, Saudi, Syria, Egypt, Yemen. People of all countries when i meet them, they say they love Shahrukh Khan. This is how they identify India and associate it with happiness and song and dance. It truly humbles me.
I agree. Maybe too big a part of India doesn’t truly understand what he’s done for people. I hated their reactions to Zero which was a courageous undertaking for the entire crew creating that movie. The haters hurt my boy awfully, something he didn’t deserve. I was terribly disappointed in Indians, too, when they turned on him and Gauri over the Aryan situation. Thank god he was vindicated!

I remember there was a time when SRK’s films were continuously bashed by Audiences and critics. He just chose projects that really didn’t have enough substance or room for his talent. I’m so glad he took a break because his comeback so far has been absolutely incredible with Both Pathan and Jawan being blockbusters. Here’s to hoping Dunki is at the very least a decent film
