Serfdom was also magnitudes worse than Chattel Slavery, and Europe experienced the same, if not worse, oppression under serf laws from their own rulers that black slaves experienced for a few hundred years, and serfdom existed for well over a millennium. It was located around modern day Ethiopia, Egypt, Eritrea, Sudan, South Sudan, and Parts of Yemen. The Ark of the Covenant was thought or believed to have been located in the Chapel of Axum (in the City of Axum). @Patient Devil That's true. I've heard plenty of people refer to Egypt or North Africa in general as being a part of the middle east because a lot of the people that live there are Arab. However, that doesn't mean they aren't African, and Arabs are an ethnic group, so who's to say that there aren't any black Arabs?. Africa is such a diverse continent it's a shame they try to cut it up as North Africa and Sub Saharan Africa (aka the "black" part).
It's bloody ridiculous how unknown the history of sub-saharan africa is in the Western world. All we learned about it in french school was when we colonized that part of the world. It's horrifying. There is so much to learn about besides the horrible things we did. Those empires and cultures were so interesting. I feel like if the world really knew about it, they'd be more respectful of Africa and its greatness.
So? Every country has different history to tell. Why would France teach something of any unimportant African "empires"? Mali, Kush and Axum are worth mentioning, but only in few sentences. If you want to know more, you need to study history...u cant get this information in elementary school.

And the Kingdom of the Zulu, ruled by Shaka himself, wasn't even mentioned.
Only Timbuktu stands out as having been mostly neutral and a city of academia all the way up until the sands of the Sahara spread and choked out it's agriculture, which I believe didn't happen until the 1600-1700s.
India never owed and sold slaves. All slave trades happened during muslim rule
@@spyboy0076 BS, Islam is only 1 thousand years old. Every empire of the region had slaves, for thousands of years. Like 4-7 thousand years of slavery. Europe was a source for slaves until the rise of the Greeks and Romans.
@@SoldrfMfortune the Greeks and Romans enslaved other Europeans, what are you talking about bro? Also, I believe the author of this video is trying to say "Africa before chattel slavery".
@@Mista_Terrific81 the Greeks and Romans enslaved the same peoples as every other Mediterranean empire, Persia included. There's too much documentation on that. Caesar defeated Shakka Zulu and made Shakka governor of the Caesar's wheat-growers in Zulu-controlled Africa, and Caesar expected servants, slaves, and eunuchs as part of annual taxes/tribute paid to the Emperor.
Serfdom was also magnitudes worse than Chattel Slavery, and Europe experienced the same, if not worse, oppression under serf laws from their own rulers that black slaves experienced for a few hundred years, and serfdom existed for well over a millennium. You forget the royals and nobles were rarely of the same blood, ethnicity and/or culture as the people they lorded and ruled over.
@@SoldrfMfortune How the hell was surfdom worse than chattel slavery?
interesting 🧐
Who islamic warior conquer and occupied african kingdom and convert him into islam through sword
Fascinating. Why didn't my school teach me this?

There are multiple tribes of Israel in some African countries.
Where was the location of the Kingdom of Axum?
Kingdom of Axum was located in East Africa, in modern day Northern Ethiopia and Eritria. The large stone structures Axum is known for are still standing today in the city of Axum in Ethiopia.
Read about the Kingdom of Aksum that existed around 100BC, the first of all Kingdoms to have existed. It was located around modern day Ethiopia, Egypt, Eritrea, Sudan, South Sudan, and Parts of Yemen. The Ark of the Covenant was thought or believed to have been located in the Chapel of Axum (in the City of Axum). This is why the Kingdom of Aksum (original name) was also know as the Kingdom of Axum. God bless Africa.

This type of education is so important
I wonder if North Africa is another continent, the Amazigh have conquered a territory going from the south of France to the river of Senegal, for exemple Yakub almansour '''The Victorious'' he never lost a batle against the crusades, and there is others great kings Youssef ben Tachfine, moulay ismael ...
what the fuck are you even talking about? you're looking for cuttin Africa just because some people in the north are not black
👍
700,000 Manuscripts. ...
There are many African empires. Read the bible. Cush, Punt, Ethiopia are mentioned over 50 times in the bible. Begin with Genesis.
We need to learn and teach our history!
@Pan-AfricanWarrior What you said is racists. What have Europeans stolen from you?
So? Every country has different history to tell. Why would France teach something of any unimportant African "empires"? Mali, Kush and Axum are worth mentioning, but only in few sentences. If you want to know more, you need to study history...u cant get this information in elementary school.
Kush is Ethiopian King Dom Nubian one of tribe kush
Sudanese Kush Empire 🇸🇩🇸🇩🦅⚔️
Mansa Musa also ruined a town's economy because of how much gold he gave out
Carthage empire
Hannibal ?
4 races = a joke. How do you explain racial inpurity and the difference between caucasians and africans after watching this?
Hello
