Those "power supplies" are transformers and they are full of copper. a its worth a lot more to break it open and split it into a pile of number 1/2 copper and a pile of steel. its ether steel or Ferrite on each one and most of the time can be loosened with a hammer. sometimes the steel has plates interlocking into the center of the transformer and need to be pulled loose with a pliers. Also love the vids btw. keep doing the thing.
thanks double A! I don't bother with most of the transformers cuz I don't have a fast way to do it. If I had a big chop saw with a metal blade then I definitely would. Probably the only way electronic items like these would be worth scrapping.
Sure, but what about an amp and a decent enclosure? There's the "moons n' tunes" trim package on some vibes that have a custom sub box molded in the trunk, that's the way to go for me ;)
Dude that was a perfectly good amplifier you could have used just got to be careful it's not all bear basics copper and aluminum those electronics can do a lot of things . hook a small battery up to or transformer and bammy got more power to power a better Bluetooth speaker or something. I don't know I get pretty creative with my old electronics
Thanks Thub. You got mad video editing skills. Not easy.
Some people recover gold from circuit boards/components - is it worth savng them up to pass on to another picker?
Those blue relays you blew apart have pure silver contacts in them. Use a torch to separate them from the copper strips there mounted kn
👍

You gotta wire in those subs under your seat or something! If i can fit 2 12s in behind my benchseat in my truck, u can fit em under your seat.

For speaker collecters that is sad😢
