Threads App: Advertising Opportunities for Business? Twitter Competitor?

The Threads App by Meta (Facebook & Instagram) launched, and users are flocking to the new platform.

I believe Threads will give us more advertising space as the available space available (ad space inventory) on Facebook and Instagram continues to diminish.
Facebook will also allow you to use your current audiences that you have built on their platforms to target your customers.

I signed in today and I really enjoy it so far. It feels like the algorithm uses some kind of sentiment analysis to push positive posts and not a single ad gets displayed, very refreshing (but bad for marketing I guess). The UI also feels amazing but it still lacks important features like bookmarks, lists and follow-only timelime. Another thing to mention is the variety of personal data they gather, it's ridiculous. Overall I think threads will be a serious Twitter competitor, but time will tell.

I agree that it was a good launch with plenty of room for features. Trust me, the ads will be coming soon. All the personal data gathered will be used for brands to market to the users. It should be fun to watch this new platform.

@@HairBusinessBlueprint Yes, I also think that ads will certainly come. Ad-free would be nonsense from a business perspective.
