I love the crackle of a fire! And the chickens always make me smile 😊 and seeing them come down the ramp in single file out to get some yum yums at the cabin is hilarious. Great video!
For me personally I like the serene feeling and sounds from around your cabin, that's what I'm talking about 😂😂😂 say Dude ya didn't offer your guests no coffee or tea ❤❤❤❤Lol😂😂😂 It's freezing here in Kingman Az USA lol Just teasing you sir, But I am not even joking about the weather here tonight we are under a hard freeze warning Right now!❤❤❤❤
I'm cold here in Florida right now it's 39, LOL. Seeing you and your cabin in short sleeves I'm wondering you must be tough! Have a nice day and thanks for a peek inside your lovely cabin. 💕👍
We just got dumped 20cm over night but the fires going and usually can be in shorts and a t shirt inside very comfortably, have to crack a window somedays it gets a little to cozy
Unless you have reason, try keeing an electric matreess heater or blanket when fires not going or lack of heat. There's a few majeshift ways to use battery converter or similar. They arebt too much on use and it might improve sleep or wake up .
I could never get used to having a heater blanket, they always get me too hot, I don't mind it getting cold or having to add a log to the fire. Usually helps me get my arse going in the mornings when that does happen haha
I am new to your channel watching. I really enjoy your videos. I. Also have my own chickens. Love the fresh eggs. Just. Curious, do you save your egg shells? They're great to feed back to the chickens. Once they dry and you crush them. It is good calcium to feed back to your birds.
Eggs and salsa, I like it. What was the dried herb you put in? How many eggs do you get this time of year from your hens? Hope you have a great day man!
So tasty! Pepper, oregano, summer savory and dark opal basil add such a nice flavor. Still sitting at 3-4 eggs a day with 5 hens. It's been like that for about 3 years since I got them. They are good layers
Great morning routine....(minus the mice/voles!). Question...Not sure what size your wood stove is, but when I soon will be living in my 12x12 insulated shack with no upper floor....would a wood stove for 900 sq ft coverage burn me out? Is there a way to keep temps down in a wood stove that size? (Thx for your thoughts!) Also, when I do eggs, I just crack them straight into the pan (with some tallow) and stir them around. I eat them right from the pan in fact and avoid the extra clean up! 😄
If its a true air tight stove I'd say you would be good where you can control the temps alot more efficiently. Mines not a true airtight and even with the second damper it can still cook me out fairly easily if I forget to burn wisely
Love your place, wishing you lots of great times there ❤
I watching this while I’m getting ready for work. It is helping me relax. Ty
Glad you enjoyed it! Hope you have a great day at work.

I love the crackle of the fire too! It's so soothing and relaxing. Yup, the chickens are ready to go as soon as they hear me coming down the trail
Nice video Adam . I guess now is the time to make that one viewer happy buddy . 👍🇺🇸
Haha people don't like it, they know where to go 🤣 I know what this place will look like when the time comes. Appreciate you 🙏

Starting a fire one handed is hard😊
It definitely takes a bit more concentration lol
That’s a cute snowy tiny home w loft, I’d build something like that my dream
Thanks! You definitely should! It's well worth it
@@MapleMonkeyHomesteadgot any links to buy land where you’re at? Advice?

Thinking of getting a few laying hens myself
Definitely should. Can’t beat fresh eggs and the antics of chickens

This channel was so promising early on and I enjoyed it but now it just looks like a damn garbage dump. What a shame.
