@@thevinylvault Whenever we have gone to boot sales recently there have been record dealers waiting for sellers car doors to be opened as they pull up and they ask "do you have any vinyl" so this makes it impossible to find anything good. Do you have any advice for which boot sales to go for, how to find these deals, what time to go etc, thank you!
I am afraid it’s the same pretty much wherever you go however, here are some of my tips for finding good records. Try to find boot sales off the beaten track. Small ones can often pay off. Go regular and go early. Don’t hold your breath thinking you will find something. If I posted every video I film looking for records I would be posting hundreds of boring videos. Side note I have also found some crazy rare records for cheap at the smaller record fairs but again don’t hold your breath. PS just subscribed to your channel as it looks interesting. Led Zep 3, I got that one on vinyl with the "wheel" inside the cover one of my most favorite albums. All of those that you found there, they look like they are in fantastic shape.
Insane. The Traffic cover is great. Some of the finds were in the shopping basket we couldn't make out what they were. I can't believe, with the vinyl revival and all, that classic albums can be bought so cheap.
Yes, that traffic cover is unusual. Records like this don’t turn up very often but it’s the reward for putting in all the hard work over the years. The hours spent getting up early, traveling and the time spent digging for records always outweighs the monetary value of the records but the buzz of finding a nice clean classic and hard to find LP is the reward. It is modern day treasure hunting at its best and if you keep looking eventually something turns up. Thanks so much for watching.
I put in hours and hours of digging, travel miles and miles, go without sleep and walk for days. It’s the only reason I have been lucky with my finds. Keep searching and I am sure your luck will change.

I had a score like this a couple weeks ago. Guy basically had nothing at garage sale he asked what I was looking for and I said old toys, clothes and records. Oh I have some (Lp’s) he brings out a tub with about 80-100 albums out. The first one was Led Zeppelin III the next 7 were Bowie then the Stones,Beatles,Devo,Clash etc..I bought the whole bin for $50 basically .50-.75 cents an album.
At what point should you decide "these have all been super clean so far, maybe i don't need to check the vinyl of every one of these £1 records"? ;) Seriously good score there.
