I resized a regular jpeg picture to my liking and then used this app to convert to a png file. play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.techmania.allfileconverter
I have the same system for my 2010 and am very disappointed in the GPS software, or lack there of. I have ask EONON if I can download maps to it so I don't have to use Google maps from my phone. Have you tried any other map software on yours?
There is a video input cable specifically for the rear view camera. In order to activate the camera when in reverse, I connected the camera to the reverse tail light.
@@T_B_C_L When you say you connected the camera to the reverse tail light- Did you wire something on the factory harness? Or did you take something from the factory harness and connect it to something on the head unit? I have my Eonon Q80P wired like the manual instructs and I only get "no signal" when I go into Reverse. I also don't get any reverse lights.
@@gregscherer9719I think maybe you have a factory backup camera already? If so I'm not sure how to connect that. I installed an aftermarket but similar to factory tailgate handle camera. ua-cam.com/video/ArY1Oi-8-ss/v-deo.html
Hmmm. I would look through all the folders and find the folder that has the boot screen logo picture in it. Maybe on your model the folders is called something else.
Thank you bro, I’ll have to give this a shot on my stereo! Thanks for sharing 🤙🏼
🍻
I did it all on the unit itself thanks brother
Awesome 👌

Appreciate the positive feedback 🍻
Thank you sir! Just what I was looking for! I have liked and subscribed. Question: what app did you use to resize the png file?

I have not tried any other mapping software sorry. Google maps has worked great for me.
How do you hide the “powered by android” that shows after the logo?
I don't think you can, but if it's possible I don't know how to do it.
😊
every png file gmc logo I have tried are all scrambled when I reboot the radio, any ideas?
Try shrinking the picture size. I believe if the size is to big it won't work right. One of mine is 700x400
How did you get the back up camera to work?
