Just come across your channel for the first time. Great video. I've never been to Dartmoor, I must make an effort to get down there this year, even if it's just for a hike. Weather conditions are brutal at the moment, you did well considering what the elements threw at you both. x

Glad you ok, could have been dicey! had the same sort of issue, new years eve, I was also heading to Fur tor from Postbridge, got as far as braddons Lake and it was totally impassable, walked back to postbridge, I did consider trying a diff route , but thought I had to cross some water to get to Fur tor so went home. But glad you OK, last camp I was on, it was on East Mill tor,ended up with Dartmoor rescue being called out, as a friend , who was meeting us later in the evening took a fall and broke his ankle. He is fine (as can be) but showed how quick shit can go sideways on Dartmoor, I now dont take the risks anymore , always another day to go camping.
