The first iterations of the merkava always seemed like modified renamed tanks of British and maybe American origin but the mark 4 is my favorite. It's built for crew protection and city fighting but thst canon should allow dominance on any field of battle, granted the operator and crew are solidly trained/experienced. Hamas keeps saying "give us tanks and planes and let us fight you then". Little do they know they would LOSE even worse than they do now with guerilla tactics. You could give the Palestinians the merkavasn and make the Israelis drive T54 Soviet era obsolete tanks and the Israelis would destroy Hamas. It comes down to the crew. That said I wish I had Merkava IV
@@M4_Soppi_2 LIC (low intensity conflict) version means protection for the sensors, thats it. its just a mod for sensors, its not a separate tank. Again, Gaijin is a joke making only the LIC version is decent. I cant say it for sure because Gaijin nerfed it already.
