It's so weird how he treats the listener. Like he sees them like his property, but he's superficial in wanting them to be presentable. So the listener is in a position where their ironically being treated nicely. Not because Killi respects them but because of other superficial and petty reasons. I'm pretty interested in how this plays out. I can imagine the listener becoming some sort of guineapig for Killi to practice his magic on.
I can imagine the listener always just having this dull, empty and broken expression in their eyes, but their facial expression stays pretty mutual most of the time, or they always look like their dealing with things far beyond our understanding.
His bitterness about his gramps' mistress gives me so much life, omg. HE'S SUCH A BRAT, I WANNA SLAP HIM (it speaks to good characterisation, you're good lol). I like to see the listener as a deer half blood. Silent, fairly common but beautiful features regardless of gender, and to top it all off, they can be surprisingly violent if provoked (again for both gender). I also see listener as a silent but witty type. The quiet kid mixed with sarcastic banter.
