Illya, like many characters in Fate, does awful things for understandable reasons. As far as bad endings go, my personal favorite is the one that's hardest to obtain. You've gotta spend your entire playthrough being as mean as possible to Saber so she chooses the grail over Shirou.

Losing parents, haunted by ghosts having her skin burned every day...
All I did was decide to discuss strategies with Rin instead of Saber before taking on berserker. You literally just need to be nice to the other girls to fail to earn enough saber points for the good end.

Sure,Shirou doesn't dies, but he's basically either a slave (to Ilya) or paralized and used as a magic item (Caster bad end).
I know she over did it, but let's not forget here that she thinks shiro took kiristsugu away from her (she doesn't know kiritsugu or shiro wasn't at fault , but the Einzberns are) and she was brutally trained and treated by the Einzberns in all of those years while shiro was under the care of her dad who she thinks abandoned her. On top of that the Einzberns probably trained her in a way that she would be brutal in mind in order to win the war.

This shows she at least has a sense of attachment to him, morality aside.

Honestly I think the More Possible and Interesting Bad Endings for FSN are: From Fate: -Texture from Fate and UBW where Shirou declines Rin's alliance and the Next school Day she Gandrs Shirou, strangles him unconscious, and Shirou gets amnesia somehow from this. Would be more practical if he just died. -Missing Ariadne (A failed attack on Ryuudou Temple by Shirou and Saber interrupted by Rider) -Dress of Heaven: The one where Shirou agrees to be Illya's Servant when he's kidnapped by her only to have his mind Transferred into 'something else' -Night Without Dawn: The Fate Route's Berserker fight going South when Shirou doesn't stop Saber from using her NP to just kill Berserker right there. (SPOILERS It doesn't work.) -Two Caster Endings that are basically the same in Fate Route at some point Saber gets hit by Rule Breaker and she's forced to kill Shirou by Caster if you make a bad call during the fight. -A couple of Day 15 Endings are interesting UBW Bad Ends: Third Death: What happens when you follow Rin's orders blindly. -Hypnos: The explanation for WHY exactly Shirou had to Strip Issei rather than just asking him about Caster at school -Killer: Kuzuki kicking your **** in. -Hazy: You chooseing to ally with Caster. -Sword and Magic, One Conclusion, and Heaven's Fall Heavens feel Route: -Miserable Lone Force -Geas: Where Rin kills Sakura. -Stone Coffin (Which is a little Humorous) -Superhero (Which I'm Just going to let you Guess what it entails ;) ) Layered Curse of the Womb Realm Mandala -Sparks Liner High and Femme Fatale ( which could share a vid honestly)

Even if sounds weird, i can't help in think that the bad ending "Forest of no return" of Fate route, look similar to the "Yharnam Sunrise" ending of Bloodborne. By the fact that the main protagonists (Shirou/Paleblood Hunter), accepts to surrender their positions as Master and Hunter to the arbiters (Kotomine/Gehrman), leading to that the protagonists be free from the Holy Grail war and the Hunter's Dream. Though that this choice come with some consequences; Gehrman executes the Paleblood Hunter, and Shirou is tortured permanently by Illya.

Its a matter of perspective. I do wonder what or how the ilya route would go. Would ilya take shirou night one but after kirie tells shioru Kirisugu and his past with ilyas family. Then i feel it would go into ilya explaining why she hates shioru as she was told he ran from her and loved shirou instead. I would love to see that. Hey I was wondering if there was more info about the Grail Mud and the different ways it could affect people like we know that it revived the Spook master Kirei Kotomine but what else does it do. Like could it make Alter humans? Would exposure to a body part affect the whole or would it just destroy it? Would it reduce humans to a more Beast-like state or affect their mentality so that say a sweet and innocent child could suddenly have Sadistic tendencies? What would it do to a Homunculus? We know it brings the dark side of a servant out so what about Chaotic Evil servants would it just make them insane? At the same time what about those under True Neutral. Today I had an argument with another fate fan and at some point this ending was brought up and I said (oh well it's a bad ending you fucked up and then restart simple as that) Because just as explained in the video I used to get mad over what happened to her in ubw it wasn't until later on that same day that I saw this video and ended up thinking (Welp I'm done defending her from now on after watching this) Moral of the story is do your research before you say something dumb.
Not a lot of people know about this to be fair though, but yeah illya has her moments for sure. She low-key did something worse than this in the actual route
Rin has by this point already learned that Shirou knows virtually nothing about magic and cant even cast simple spells. While its difficult to say what's going through her head at this point Rin isnt aware of Shirou's fanatical desire to be a hero at this point either, not did she know of Illya's personal grudge against Shirou. I don't think she was particularly surprised by his choice to back out. While Rin may well have have had a bad feeling about him leaving, but this would have been her heart rather than her head talking. Basically the choice to back out is very reasonable and the logical side of Rin agrees with this choice.
Makes you wonder if chloe would of been a far more BRUTAL counter guardian in order to protect ilya, as her brother, father and sakura saber each have a much more dangerous counter guardian form, plus this ending is FAR more extreme of a refusal to call

Hercules would still protect her and her maids act the same. Prisma ilya would team up with shirou and then rin and the war is basically over as shinji would join out of fear of dying

When you think about it, this is legit the first time Ilya laid eyes on Shirou. All that pent up anger she felt towards Kiritsugu was then pretty much directed at him, so essentially a "Kill on Sight" mentality. Still doesn't excuse what she did, but torturing Shirou like that was probably her vengeance towards Kiritsugu.

Now i dont condone what she did in that ending, but i sympathize with her emotions. Good thing it never actually turned out that way and theyre both on great terms. Even if sounds weird, i can't help in think that the bad ending "Forest of no return" of Fate route, look similar to the "Yharnam Sunrise" ending of Bloodborne.
By the fact that the main protagonists (Shirou/Paleblood Hunter), accepts to surrender their positions as Master and Hunter to the arbiters (Kotomine/Gehrman), leading to that the protagonists be free from the Holy Grail war and the Hunter's Dream.
Though that this choice come with some consequences; Gehrman executes the Paleblood Hunter, and Shirou is tortured permanently by Illya.

Gilgamesh is not wrong most of the time in a weird way. I love him so i will be non biase. Kills ilya in ubw who was a enemy. Tells sakura to die when she has the chance before she goes into a psycho and kills and shames many heroes. Joins with kirie because tokiami while smart was an idiot as the same time. Wants saber so he has good taste. Not rin as she reminds him of ishar the original THOT who took enkidu. Plus he likes small chest. And should have destroyed sakura and her goo but was too arrogant.
Its a matter of perspective. I do wonder what or how the ilya route would go. Would ilya take shirou night one but after kirie tells shioru Kirisugu and his past with ilyas family. Then i feel it would go into ilya explaining why she hates shioru as she was told he ran from her and loved shirou instead. I would love to see that. And somehow shirou tells her that Kirisugu tried to get her free and team up. Would be cool to see as emiya archer knew she was his sister and probaly saw her die from her last year of life as a homunculus

Hey I was wondering if there was more info about the Grail Mud and the different ways it could affect people like we know that it revived the Spook master Kirei Kotomine but what else does it do. Like could it make Alter humans? Would exposure to a body part affect the whole or would it just destroy it?
Would it reduce humans to a more Beast-like state or affect their mentality so that say a sweet and innocent child could suddenly have Sadistic tendencies? What would it do to a Homunculus? We know it brings the dark side of a servant out so what about Chaotic Evil servants would it just make them insane? At the same time what about those under True Neutral.

Today I had an argument with another fate fan and at some point this ending was brought up and I said (oh well it's a bad ending you fucked up and then restart simple as that)
Because just as explained in the video I used to get mad over what happened to her in ubw it wasn't until later on that same day that I saw this video and ended up thinking

Not a lot of people know about this to be fair though, but yeah illya has her moments for sure. She low-key did something worse than this in the actual route
Rin has by this point already learned that Shirou knows virtually nothing about magic and cant even cast simple spells. While its difficult to say what's going through her head at this point Rin isnt aware of Shirou's fanatical desire to be a hero at this point either, not did she know of Illya's personal grudge against Shirou. I don't think she was particularly surprised by his choice to back out. While Rin may well have have had a bad feeling about him leaving, but this would have been her heart rather than her head talking.
Basically the choice to back out is very reasonable and the logical side of Rin agrees with this choice.

This reminds me of little what if scenario i think up. Like if prisma ilya switched minds with stat night ilya. How would that change the series. Hercules would still protect her and her maids act the same. Prisma ilya would team up with shirou and then rin and the war is basically over as shinji would join out of fear of dying
illya may have killed shiro on bad endings, but she saved shiro by giving informations and by sacrifing her life on HF

When you think about it, this is legit the first time Ilya laid eyes on Shirou. All that pent up anger she felt towards Kiritsugu was then pretty much directed at him, so essentially a "Kill on Sight" mentality.
Still doesn't excuse what she did, but torturing Shirou like that was probably her vengeance towards Kiritsugu.
You better not say the Superhero ending is a bad ending since that's the only good Heaven's feel ending.

Illyasviel was resentful towards Kiritsugu for allegedly abandoning her for some random kid and she made Shirou pay in his place. Now i dont condone what she did in that ending, but i sympathize with her emotions. Good thing it never actually turned out that way and theyre both on great terms. Knowing that she can be easily reasoned with, i still love her. All the descriptions of gore dont bother me.
Stronger man than me. The bear doll scares me more. Being a soul in a doll. And ilya would die thinking she had Kirisugu love im her doll in some weird way. But heavens feel shows her and shirou as a team which i like. And hate as ilays route was scrapped for sakura but we have small hints of it in heavens feel
