Neither the C130 or C141 were built after the (Vietnam) war... they came out during the war. Only the C141 was jet, while the C130 was turboprop, and still in service now with considerable upgrades

at an air show in 2019 at Davis-Monthan AFB. a C-17 landed within a 1,000 feet and deployed the thrust reversers to back up on the runway...so awesome

if the B52 is equipped with a more advanced and powerful coe engine than the current one, like the C17 engine... They don't create black smoke trails like on the B52... With the American level of aviation and space technology, I think I will soon see B52s with 8 new engines.
I bought as much Rolls-Royce stock as I couuld afford. I think that will be a good upgrade. I was in the USAF during the CFM56 upgrades to the KC-135. One of the things we had to learn was to turn slower while on the ground and loaded, otherwise we would scrape the outer engines' nacelles.

WRONG! The Web Seats in a C130 are NOT COMFORTABLE! especially after 12 hours!
As someone who has been in a c-17 before but not a c-130 i must say that the seats in the 17 are comfortable, but it’s the near unlimited legroom you have that makes it so good. On a long haul flight I would probably bring a sleeping bag with me lmao
