@@BabantheKiddI would say Yoon Mirae is the Godmother of all female rappers in Korea - and her husband - Tiger JK - is the Godfather (he grew up in Seoul but came to LA as a teen and went to Glendale - after witnessing the LA Riots he wanted to use hip hop to create a dialogue between the Black and Korean communities - and he's a big reason why hip hop and rap became popular in Korea; he also spent time in jail on drug charges in Korea). She grew up in Texas at Ft. Hood (military brat - her dad was a DJ) - Her American name is Natasha Shanta Reid but she goes by Tasha or even T. She, her husband Tiger JK, and another rapper named Bizzy formed a hip-hop rap trio named MFBTY (which stands for My Fans Better Than Yours). As a mixed race Korean she went through a lot of discrimination by Koreans who didn't want to accept her. Because of her talent she became the most popular female rapper in Korea and even helped the government with the issue of mixed race kids in Korea find acceptance. Mirae is also a top singer and was as big in Korea as Mary J. Blige was in the US.
Love seeing people discover Gaeko and the QUEEN Yoonmirae through this song! j-hope killed it as well, this song has such an uplifting but grounded feel. Actually both rappers collabed with BTS member RM before, and both songs were absolute fire. Highly recommended if you wanna react: BukuBuku by MFTBY (ft. RM) Gajah by Gaeko & RM
Yoon Mirae goes hard ! Gaeko do profound and Ho-Seok blend them together. He always find a way to create a synergy of his featuring and enlight his guest. That is not what a Emcee does ? I LOVE IT !
Elegant, sophisticated, almost lace composition. Hoseok is a genius. The guys in collaboration are magnificent. I listen without getting tired. A masterpiece.
i love this song so much and i love how its about his love for dance and for his former dance crew Neuron and just how humble he is never forgetting where he started from
NEURON blows me away, the whole album did, it's so amazing that hobi made an album which is easy on the ears and yet so freaking good artistically ! check out the other songs, I WONDER, LOCK/UNLOCK, I DON'T KNOW, they are awesome, lock unlock (collab with legendary Nile Rodgers) is WoW & the guitar at the end is a brilliant stroke of genius. Even song which we heard before like OTS (solo version) had added verses that are fantastic, i could listen to the album all day, pls give it a listen, its only 19min but full of genius and great vibes :)
It might reminds you of hope on the strret feat jcole where they harmonized!? Is a whole Episode just about his Dance Crew, and he is introducing us to them, but it's one of the latter released Episodes, it's the Season finally. It's all tied up and connected, just as expected of him Each Song on them Album is representing one Episode and a Dance Style and paint's a cohesive picture, knowing your dance practice reaction's, you're going to adore the Documentary. Neuron has the same people as when Hobi was with them, one of the members is actually a Choreographer at Bighit now, Bangster, they are all older than Hobi he was the Maknae and the youngest member of Neuron. I definitely thought of BTS when I saw the 7 birds, many scenes are making the individual connections to the members. Is the second time a BTS member did a collab with Yoon Mirae (RM was in a song called buckubucku with her) and she is my absolute favorite korean female rapper. Her English name is Natasha but Tasha for short which is why she says "Jhope done gave T the beat drop". I also think when she says "dark winged Baby T" she is referring to the fact that she's half black which is something she has talked about numerous times about being half Black half Korean in a homogenous country.
Yoonmirae aka Tasha Reid and Gaeko go way way way back together, both have been rapping for a long time, Gaeko is now in the group called Dynamic Duo, before was in a group called CB Mass, Tasha was in a group called Uptown, but all the OG rappers in Korea were in a group called "The Movement"
Yoonmirae AKA Natasha is a blasian rapper/ singer that is known as the godmother of Korean hiphop. Her and her husband who’s also an old school rapper normalized/ brought hiphop in Korea in the early 2000s
If you like yoonmire you should react to voodoo boogie, it’s a song with her husband. And you should react to bibi if you haven’t already as she’s under yoonmires label.
Yoon Mirae is originally from the 90's group Uptown comprised of Korean-Americans ua-cam.com/video/aOH2XO_jPmo/v-deo.html -- Her flow in this Uptown track is a bit like Bone Thugs in Harmony. 1st gen American-born Korean-Americans brought much of the Black / Hip-Hop culture to Korea in the 90s mostly from the Los Angeles diaspora, a part of history which is complex and not many recognize. Hip-hop was very popular in at least the Filipino and Korean-American community in the 90s perhaps, because these new 1st-gen asian-american youths who felt disenfranchised or "othered" by mainstream society found a culture/music that appealed to their situation.
Guys i'm suggesting to check out BTS's Hip Hop stuff For starters there are the Cypher Seties, *Cypher pt.1-4* (straight up cyphers) And then there is *Hip Hop Phile* (in the song they're telling the stories how much they love hip hop and their journey to get deep into the culture. And they're paying homage to legends, talkin abt Tupac, Biggie, JayZ, Rakim, Pete Rock, Eminem, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, KRS-ONE, Gang Starr, CL Smooth, Kendrick, J.Cole and a lot others) And also there is *Monster* (OG Grown Simba by J.Cole) and *Joke* (OG Beat by Run The Jewel, Oh My Darling), both by *RM*
Would love to see what you think about the single Come Back To Me by RM coming on 5.10! His second studio album Right Place Wrong Person is coming on 05.24! If you love Asian cinema, you're in for a treat because acclaimed production designer Ryu Seonghui (Decision To Leave, Oldboy, The Handmaiden) worked on this one.
Hi guys! The new album of RM of BTS “Right place, wrong person” will be released on Friday May 24th 2024 and the pre release track will be out on 10 May 2024. Can you please react too? 🙏🏻
Guys, appreciate you reacting to neuron! Just so you know army have a 24hour rule where you shouldn't post reactions within 24hrs of a music video release. This is so focus can solely be on the video and the UA-cam search brings it up first. Please respect that in the future.
I question this so called "rule" all the time. The algorithm doesn't work like that. We should be watching something else in between to count streams anyway, and the more people reacting to it the more attention the track gets... So idk who came up with this idea, I've been in the fandom since before it and I just went with it at the very beginning but, maybe nowdays it doesn't make much sense anymore, maybe it did with previous YT settings, but I don't think it does anymore... 💜 Nonetheless keep streaming it, I appreciate your work as a fellow ARMY, some reactors do follow this just because they are to afraid of our fandom 😂 so don't get to worked up with reactors, it's ok if people agree or disagree with this "rule" 💜
@user-vv7hc7kb5o They weren't indeed, they were very polite, and I was hoping to come out polite as well, I do tend to rant a lot, as you can tell 🤣 It's not my intention to write a dissertation, I'm just genuinely questioning this rule, like, let's reflect about it, Idk if it's still relevant 🤔 But as I said, I appreciate op work, as in spreading information they think is important and not threatening the reactors 😅
@@lal4mm it is still relevant because some people (be it kpop stans or antis) watch reactors so they can watch the mv without giving the official one the view and engagement aka that takes away from the og mv in many ways. So yeah it's still relevant and it would be nice if more reactors respected it. And this is nothing against this reactor since they dont know. That's op is letting them know. Ang again op didn't threaten anyone so stop saying that🥴..be normal
Jhope always lets his collaborators shine on his songs, I love it! No one ever feels like a filler, they feel like they belong.
agree🔥🔥🔥🔥
yessss! he doesn't ask someone to feature on his song for clout. they are there with a purpose and their own point of view... Becky, J. Cole...
Yoonmirae is the female rapper....she's African American & Korean...her husband is Tiger JK who is an old school rapper in South Korea
