- Marvel Studios wanted Robert Downey Jr to return to the MCU as Iron Man in Deadpool and Wolverine according to a new report. Marvel wanted Robert Downey Jr to return as Iron Man in the Deadpool & Wolverine post credit scene to set up Avengers Secret Wars and to also appear next to another character. Now, it seems like on character still might appear in the Deadpool 3 post credit scene and that could be Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man.

Glad they scrapped this idea. It should be Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man in the section post credit scene. And the cameos I'm really hoping to see are Edward Norton's Hulk but a variant since Mark Ruffalo is our main Hulk now. Berry as Storm, Janssen as Jean Grey, Chris Evans and Jessica Alba as Invisible Woman and Human Torch, Jennifer Garner as Elektra, Ben Affleck as Daredevil, Wesley Snipes' Blade and Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr. Strange. Can't wait for this, can't wait for more news and love the MCU.

RDJ did win a Oscar, but, what movies have these actors been in that made huge money at the box office? Chris Evans has been doing mostly Netflix movies. Chris Hemsworth movies have been bombs. ScarJo too hasn't had a hit since her departure. I want all those characters back and if they're done, help Marvel recast the characters they played.

Honestly mr Robert Downey jr not appearing in the post credit scene for dead pool and Wolverine. Is good. Because they are saving his return for secret wars. it’s obvious he will return in secret wars. As far Mr Tobey appearing in Deadpool and Wolverine. I won’t hold my hopes for that. He will definitely return in secret wars. That is so obvious and there are also rumors that he can also show up in spider man 4 with Mr Andrew Garfield towards the end of the film. But here I don’t know. First they said Mr Tobey after returning in no way home was going to return in multiverse of madness, which they even hinted and then that never happened. Then even though Mr Andrew was originally supposed to show in the trash madame web film, and then changed it to Mr Tom holland, with the concept art and then at one point I heard Mr Tobey at one point also was supposed to show up. That also never happened. I don’t know. He will definitely return in secret wars and maybe spider man 4. Although there is no clarity on what has been going on with that film and now we have to wait until December 2026. Despite everything that we have heard about the film. And I don’t mind the film releasing in 2026, because the story and the quality of the writing, have to be good in order to match the success of no way home. And the bar and expectation is high for spider man 4. And 2026 before secret wars which will mark 5 years after no way home is insane. But here I am a little skeptical. I don’t think it will happen. But if I am proven wrong. And if it actually comes to fruition this time since one of the insiders also did hint at mr Tobey possibly appearing. Then great. But yeah I would not hold my breath out for this one. And won’t be surprised if it does not happen.

An RDJ Tony Stark (Iron-man variant) back in the MCU is something I've been wanting since the start of the Multiverse saga!! Hope Marvel put RDJ in more films then Just Secret Wars! It would be so easy to bring Stark back. A Tony Stark could come over from another universe, the only question would be "why?", and the answer is Pepper. Either the Pepper in his universe is dead, and he come to Earth 199999 to be with Pepper. Or she's married to Happy in his universe, and Stark has a secret crush that he can now pursue. Or something else. Point is, they can bring in a different Gamora from a different point in time for Quill, they can bring in a varaint Stark from say... Earth 833. 😏
