As I recall he was the one Loki charged with opening that portal for the chitari invasion force. Or when baby Groot helped yondu and rocket escape from the ravagers by eventually bringing them the items they required. I feel like we see this a lot with Batman's supporting characters. Alfred, Oracle, Lucius Fox and to some degree, Gordon. Able to help without directly entering the fray.
They're going to have to be careful about bringing too many characters into the story because they can only focus on a few and too many will end up taking a backseat.
I hope that they bring back Thomas Jane as the Punisher, Wesley Snipes as Blade, Charlie Cox, Jennifer Garner as Elektra, Channing Tatum as Gambit, all the original fox X-men actors, possibly Nicolas Cage as Ghost Rider, even the old actors like Eric Banna as a Hulk variant, the original Fantastic Four actors, and many others for Secret Wars since it's going to be a massive movie I think fans and myself would love to see all the actors that we grew up watching come back for one last movie I really do hope it happens, but who knows.

The Avengers Team could be many many characters both previous and new members. Also Benedict Cumberbatch said he is in Avengers Doomsday so he has a role to play.
Theory: Loki is the anchor being of 616 and that’s how this Loki is able to save the 616 when Doom destroys the multiverse because he has a universe he can go to and here his presence doesn’t destabilize the universe because 616 Loki is dead.
I think the team of heroes will be fantastic 4, variants of x-men members that end up being the new team, thor, New iron man, New Captain America, new black widow, hulk, falcon, she hulk, captain marvel, spider-man, Doctor strange and the young avengers. I think we'll get variants of thor, Captain America, Black Widow, Iron Man, and the x-men members. Those variants will be played by different actors and actresses and will be these new characters for the next 10 to 15 years. Favorite hero: Batman
My only concern is that most of these new characters that’s going to be on the on the new Avengers team haven’t even interacted with each other yet so when it all comes together there’s going to be no chemistry between them compared to the original Avengers team because they met each other in individual films like Tony Stark and Natasha for example or Sam and Steve in the winter soldier.
The trouble is that we don't know where Scarlet Witch is. You have to take account of the events in MoM. I would also like Thor and Mighty Thor team up again.

The creators of the fantastic 4, in my opinion, got the character of Sue Storm completely wrong. As the invisible woman she can be heard, but cannot be seen. When we all know, a woman should be seen, but not heard from.😂

I think the winter soldier and rhodey are perfect replacements for there more popular counterparts. They should have bucky find some alien tech that is this cool metal shield that is stored on a bracelet on his wrist and pops out and then they give him a sword that also is summoned out of nowhere (mainly so he can still use guns)and boom he's captain America with a sword. How cool would that be, slap an American flag on his shoulder and dawn the old back suit with a white start on the chest for America. That would be the coolest thing ever. I just love them both as characters and wish they were used more because captain America that uses guns and kills people is a great concept. And the war machine suit was as cool to me growing up as the iron man suit and honestly still is.
i don’t mind a MASSIVE avengers movie like this, but what’s missing is that initial movie to set up the earth’s mightiest heroes. there should have been avengers 5 before doomsday and secret wars with just a smaller team such as spiderman, sam, captain marvel, hulk, strange, shang chi. something like that. and then build it up with all these DIFFERENT teams in doomsday. imagine the infinity saga doing a bunch of standalone movies and then BOOM infinity war. no, what makes you feel the feels was the avengers movies before and other cross over movies like civil war to make you care for cap and tony’s relationship. tony vs thanos would have hit without the first avengers movie. but oh well, soft reboot is coming anyways

Changing the focus to making tons of stuff and then back to quality over quantity was a hiccup. Forced project reshuffling due to Covid and other issues was a hiccup. Wandavision would have fit SO well with Doctor Strange 2 if they'd stayed with its original plot which is online.

Honestly, these reports are trying to oversell the theoretical significance of main roles and we haven’t heard squat yet about the Avengers. I’m still bitter about them scrapping Kang, as now the debunking of our villain has caused cancellations. Ugh. Let’s see if the so called big roles play out soon.
I mean they could Strange and Clea could easily come in and we kind of just hear about their journey. Keep in mind Cap and Falcon went searching for Bucky for 2 years and the end of Winter Soldier had a very similar scene setting it up, yet we never saw it. Just a line from Sam in Civil War saying, “steve we looked for the guy for 2 years and found nothing”
Up into the Infinity War Saga, Marvel did a wonderful job of bringing out sequels a few years after the initial introduction of the character to keep the characters fresh while doing the same things with other characters. This new formula is introducing new characters after new characters without the sequels closely following which can make the new characters of a few years ago to be slightly forgotten which decreases the fan’s attachment to them. I’m afraid that at this rate, the new Avengers films will have a lot of characters with limited fan attachment and character depth.
I can see all of these teams working together and against each other which causes them to lose initially to Doom 😢 Can’t wait to see the writing team step it up! Not just cameos😮

The Avengers Team could be many many characters both previous and new members. Also Benedict Cumberbatch said he is in Avengers Doomsday so he has a role to play.

Theory: Loki is the anchor being of 616 and that’s how this Loki is able to save the 616 when Doom destroys the multiverse because he has a universe he can go to and here his presence doesn’t destabilize the universe because 616 Loki is dead.
Doctor Doom is one of my favorite super villain for the Fantastic Four and in the Marvel Comics and the Marvel Cinematic Universe!!!!

I think the team of heroes will be fantastic 4, variants of x-men members that end up being the new team, thor, New iron man, New Captain America, new black widow, hulk, falcon, she hulk, captain marvel, spider-man, Doctor strange and the young avengers. I think we'll get variants of thor, Captain America, Black Widow, Iron Man, and the x-men members. Those variants will be played by different actors and actresses and will be these new characters for the next 10 to 15 years.

My only concern is that most of these new characters that’s going to be on the on the new Avengers team haven’t even interacted with each other yet so when it all comes together there’s going to be no chemistry between them compared to the original Avengers team because they met each other in individual films like Tony Stark and Natasha for example or Sam and Steve in the winter soldier.
I wonder if Captain Marvel will be the first to come into contact with the Fantastic Four.
We don't even know where Wanda is. She would be stronger than Doom so something has to happen where she is distracted. How does Doom get so strong?

The new Avengers lineup IMO should be Falcon, Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, Thor & Scarlet Witch as our main lineup for this saga.

Cool thing about Banner / Hulk, depending on where and who he was Hulk or Banner at the time Dr. Strange reversed and erased everyone’s memory regarding Spider-Man - Hulk may not have been impacted. He’s been known to repel these type of mystical powers. We saw in Ultron that Banner can be impacted. Should be cool or could be a cool tie-in!

The creators of the fantastic 4, in my opinion, got the character of Sue Storm completely wrong.

If Sam will be recruiting the Avengers in Brave New World, which I hope he will, it should be himself, the new Falcon, Hulk, Hawkeye, Antman, Wasp, War Machine, Shuri/Black Panther, Shang-Chi, She-Hulk, Spider-Man, possibly Moon Knight, Daredevil, and Tigra, which should be her first live action debut like how they did with both Spider-Man and Black Panther in Captain America: Civil War. And then later on in the future of the MCU, Thor, Scarlet Witch, Vision, Dr. Strange, Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, Wong, and more. And I think it should be Spider-Man to find the other heroes since they want him to appear in other MCU projects, maybe like Thor 5, Daredevil: Born Again season 1 or 2, and more. Also of course Avengers: Secret Wars part 2. And the Young Avengers should never happen. We don't need them in the MCU. Same with Valkyrie. I think them trying to go so big right now is a huge mistake. Personally i would like to see a new team tackle a smaller threat first so we can establish them and get to know them similar to the first avengers movie and then work up to another huge event
I think the winter soldier and rhodey are perfect replacements for there more popular counterparts. They should have bucky find some alien tech that is this cool metal shield that is stored on a bracelet on his wrist and pops out and then they give him a sword that also is summoned out of nowhere (mainly so he can still use guns)and boom he's captain America with a sword. How cool would that be, slap an American flag on his shoulder and dawn the old back suit with a white start on the chest for America. That would be the coolest thing ever. I just love them both as characters and wish they were used more because captain America that uses guns and kills people is a great concept. And the war machine suit was as cool to me growing up as the iron man suit and honestly still is.

i don’t mind a MASSIVE avengers movie like this, but what’s missing is that initial movie to set up the earth’s mightiest heroes. there should have been avengers 5 before doomsday and secret wars with just a smaller team such as spiderman, sam, captain marvel, hulk, strange, shang chi. something like that. and then build it up with all these DIFFERENT teams in doomsday. imagine the infinity saga doing a bunch of standalone movies and then BOOM infinity war. no, what makes you feel the feels was the avengers movies before and other cross over movies like civil war to make you care for cap and tony’s relationship. tony vs thanos would have hit without the first avengers movie. but oh well, soft reboot is coming anyways

Changing the focus to making tons of stuff and then back to quality over quantity was a hiccup.
Forced project reshuffling due to Covid and other issues was a hiccup.
Now we're getting back on track and things will straighten out. I like how Falcon/Winter Soldier is feeding into Cap 4. Wandavision would have fit SO well with Doctor Strange 2 if they'd stayed with its original plot which is online.

Honestly, these reports are trying to oversell the theoretical significance of main roles and we haven’t heard squat yet about the Avengers. I’m still bitter about them scrapping Kang, as now the debunking of our villain has caused cancellations. Ugh. Let’s see if the so called big roles play out soon.

Of course it is. Considering the army of heroes they had in Endgame.
I mean they could Strange and Clea could easily come in and we kind of just hear about their journey. Keep in mind Cap and Falcon went searching for Bucky for 2 years and the end of Winter Soldier had a very similar scene setting it up, yet we never saw it. Just a line from Sam in Civil War saying, “steve we looked for the guy for 2 years and found nothing”
Up into the Infinity War Saga, Marvel did a wonderful job of bringing out sequels a few years after the initial introduction of the character to keep the characters fresh while doing the same things with other characters. This new formula is introducing new characters after new characters without the sequels closely following which can make the new characters of a few years ago to be slightly forgotten which decreases the fan’s attachment to them. I’m afraid that at this rate, the new Avengers films will have a lot of characters with limited fan attachment and character depth.
Young Avengers sounds pointless, just put em all in the established team. We don't need a young branch, Marvel to stop thinking about that.
