Honestly I love this show growing up. I remember every Saturdays me and my mom would buy tacos (not like those taco bell tacos but ones kinda like Mexican ones but made wit chicken and very traditional in Belize ) and watch the new episodes and she laughed at it to and it's of many things i love doing win her as a kid
Thank God Mr. Meaty has fans. Fans being me. Also, I don't understand the hate behind season 2, that shit was kinda wholesome. Especially the episode where Parker's bully came to the restaurant as a better person and Josh had to stop Parker from nearly trying to kill him because of childhood trauma.
The reason people didn’t like season two is because they severely downplayed the titular restaurant, shifted to focus to generic high school stuff, Josh and Parker no longer fought monsters and aliens, several characters got retooled, the lighting got bad, and Mr. Carney and Wink (the main villains) went completely awol until the last two episodes.
Watching the show as a kid always felt like a fever dream. Something about the look and feel of the show triggered this and even today it feels like one Awesome vid🔥🔥
Maaaan, Treasures of the Deep along with so many other Nickelodeon Flash games of that era felt more magical than a brand new $50 game. I’d sit there for hours just trying to get as far as possible
While the tape worm episode was definitely quite a trigger for my parasitophobia, the one where they travel forwards in time to get a game they wanted messed me up with just it’s title card. While I could handle lifeless, unblinking HUMAN puppets, I couldn’t for the life of me stand the designs they gave their baboons. Those bastards were terrifying.

No, it was the vegetarians that was complaining about Mr. Meaty promoting fast food, what the parents were complaining about for Mr. Meaty was the fart jokes and gross out humor (And apparently, even teenagers protested against the show for the gross out humor because they believed it was inappropriate for children to watch as well) And SpongeBob did get some flack for the fast food thing but Nickelodeon had their defense for that being "SpongeBob COOKS the krabby patties, he's not seen EATING them."
I support everybody's dietary preferences as long as they don't force them on other people. I personally prefer to hunt/fish/raise my own animals whenever possible. I'm not a fan of industrial farming, but I do love eating meat.

As a vegetarian who grew up watching mr.meaty, the reason alot of us ARE vegetarian has zero to do with animal conditions and a lot more to do with, at least for me and a few others in my group, we cannot tolerate meat. We can eat it, but it'll make us very sick; though not Lyme Disease. The argument that the THEME SONG was 'teaching kids to think it's okay to abuse animals.' here's why, as a 21(F) who literally was 5-6 when Mr.Meaty aired, that the argument should have been a lost cause: -Personal opinion should never be the primary source of a protest or petition, it should always be based on fact. -A lot of the letter' statements began with very immature and childish forms of transition and grammar, like they had just learned what veganism and vegetarianism is. Being vegetarian does not always = fighting for animal cruelty. -I could easily refute her argument being a kid myself who grew up with the show, that nobody around me that eats meat abuses animals. Animal Abuse in the way she is using it does NOT apply to those who have environmental/mental issues that we cannot see. It applies to basically say, "any and all people who eat meat are actively participating in animal abuse" which, is opinionated and does not represent true fact. If this were truly the case, all butcherers, farmers, etc., would never be allowed basic rights such as owning a gun, due to the fact someone along the way to make a the claim "all people who raise animals to eat are abusers" would have had to give psych evals to each and every individual that works in any animal production facility to actually find evidence to support said claim. -There was no statistics mentioned about how "pro meat propoganda" influenced children to abuse animals -Children who abuse animals often won't take the obvious path of being a butcher. Dahmer cut meat, but not before his killing spree started, he had been killing long before then. Ted Bundy wasn't a butcher, and he was still a serial killer. Albert wasn't a butcher, but he was still a serial killer. -The lack of information that factually supported their claim is so low, i'm failing to see how anyone could have actively signed it; there is zero proof that the show influenced kids to abuse animals. If I have a plethora of MH diagnosis and still never actively abused animals, that should show something: that kids know right and wrong; we can all live how we choose to live. We should instead fight for better conditions of the places the animals are placed in, more proper and happier treatment even if they are only raised for product. I feel like our meat industry, if the animals are more well taken care of, would produce better, higher quality meat. But for the love of god, please to any other vegetarian out there, STOP making up such strong claims without any factual evidence behind it.
