Hello! Thank you sooo much for sharing this pattern, your video is sooo helpful. I’m trying to knit a blanket for my baby… I wanted to ask, if I wanted a border on the left and right sides then do I just add that many stitches before and after the row pattern? Eg: 5 stitches at the start, the multiple of 10 + 1 (so for example 51 stitches), then another 5 stitches ? And knit/purl those 5 stitches at the start and end as normal? I hope this makes sense :S Thanks so much!
Hi, Anam. You can add a garter stitch border, that’s the simplest one. I’d recommend adding a border with a width of 4 stitches, even number (Of course, you can choose a 5 stitch border, but you have to adjust the width of top and bottom borders accordingly) And here’s how. Cast on a multiple of 10 stitches plus 9 (4 stitches at the start, the multiple of 10 + 1 (so for example 51 stitches), then another 4 stitches. Correct! A total of 59 stitches) Row 1 to Row 4 (bottom border): knit 4 rows of garter stitch (knit every row) Row 5 and after: add left and right borders at the start and end of each row. Eg. knit 4, then work lace pattern to last 4 stitches, then knit 4. Last 4 rows (top border): knit 4 rows of garter stitch, then bind off. Hope this helps you. Cheers!
Heyy, can you please tell what changes I can make to reduce the leaf size?? I love this pattern, but I would like the size of the leaf to be a little smaller.
i want to start this sweater but i have a problem ...how do i count the row number in a complicated pattern like this ...like if i forget which row im at ...how to count it to make sure ..as it is a 19 row repeat
I am not sure if its the weight of yarn i am using, or the technique. But i cannot seem to get the rows to start forming leaves, around row 10-12 is where it just ends up looking muddled
Lovely 🥰 I am going to make this , God bless you ❤
Thanks you so much.

How will you work this pattern in the round? Without the first stitch that’s not repeated.

So, i've got a question, what is RS and WB rows? Where is row 6, 8 and so on?
