This is how to prevent ants especially soldiers ants: dig holes of about 1ft deep and wide, pour red palm oil in and round the holes inside. Leave them for about 30mins or an hour. Come back to see if there are ants. Pour hot water on them and bury. You can dig about 4 holes in this size of greenhouse. Hope this helps you. Shalom!
The greenhouse is great. Very neat. There’s a massive flaw in the use of polythene or plastic sheets. The current option in Europe is that most human being merely by drinking water from plastic bottles have become plasticise. That is there’s 10% plastic in humans. Snails can eat blocks, so what stops them from knawing into the plastic/ polythene sheets.? In no time at all, you will notice that they have started eating it as well. The trouble is that they would not be able to digest the polythene and mortality will set in. So, kindly remove the polythene before your investment becomes wasted. Thank you. Felix
Thanks for your contribution. It’s well appreciated however snails cannot knaw into the polythene material. It is a high graded gram polythene and so far no mortalities have been recorded as a result of the polythene used. Thank you
