Hello sir, thank you very much for this detailed pedagogical video. I accidentally found a little snail among the leaves of garden rocket I had bought and adopted it as a pet. Since then I have been reading about the way that I can feed it. It has got pretty bigger than I initially found it; however, I just wonder if there is any way I can accelerate its growth (in a healthy way, of course) so I do not have to be worried when I feel like giving it gentle touches. watched from Botswana, thank you so much that was a detailed presentation.! i want to ask, did you just say i should go to the forest during the rainy season to collect snails? how would i identify them as male and female for reproduction purposes? the other thing, what are those formulated feeds? i get it that snails are vegetarian but what did you feed them as a supplement?

You would have probably gotten a reply by now @Bokang Marauapula, but snails are Hermaphodrites, containing both male and female reproductive organs. Even with this, they still need to pair up for reproduction.
