    ...thank you for the perfect method of fighting soldier ants in the green house and the snails pen. I'm of the opinion that the method can equally be used to check or fight against soldier ants invasion of our compound or immediate environment. Once again thank you so much...

    This is a very useful information. We use to have a snail farm done years ago, and this was one of the challenges we faced.
    There is a catapiller like thing that eats snail. Do you know any remedy for it?

    This is just one of the few reasons I’m against farming snails in greenhouses. The best and only way is the trench or gallery system. If you have any problems in your house, you’ll know these ants will return in few days. This doesn’t solve much. Anyway, may he who listens listen

    • @hugoh.9694
      @hugoh.9694 Рік тому

      It seems to me mixing a little bit of borax or boric acid in the red oil and letting them enjoy it and take it back to the queen would be MOST effective in killing the colony queens. Once done inside the greenhouse, move to set up small bait stations around the outer perimeter of the greenhouse. They would never make it past the oil. You could even widen the perimeter with another series of bait stations further out away from the greenhouse but parallel with the other bait stations near the outer perimeter. You could design the stations sort of rain-proofing them. Then all you would ever need to do is just periodically check the bait stations to make sure they have not been disturbed by a larger animal and ensure they are always containing oil. Eliminate the hole digging and boiling water routine. Boiling water may or may NOT kill the queen. My method would most certainly kill the entire colony.

    Hi friend. May i ask a question?
    Can these snail eat highly decayed fruit as staple food and live in phenomenon full of highly decayed fruit?
    I feed my snail with highly decayed fruit. And i find that they just eat a little of these fruit. And they usually tie to the wall of the box, looking like that they try to keep distance from these fruit. I search some material. They says that african giant snail like highly decayed fruit so much. But when i feed some snail by myself, it seems another result.
