Last night I watched “Stitching Between the Lines” and she highly recommended your flosstube. I watched your latest episode last night and today watched your first two episodes. I presently have a large wool applique project sprawled across my dining room table and am trying to stitch an hour each day on it. You fun, lovely ladies will be keeping me company as I do my stitching. :-()
I'm going back and watching your past videos. The Shepherd Bush's Sail Away made me cry. The mom point just really hit hard for this momma.

I just found you girls and I am loving you two! Jane, you love Shepherd’s Bush so much and you MUST visit the shop. My son lives in Los Angeles and for many years my husband and I would drive from Tallahassee, FL to visit him. Along he way we stopped at cross stitch and quilting stops one of them was Shepherd’s Bush. The shop is indescribable and one time I got to meet Tina and Terri! They are such sweet, welcoming ladies, just as you described talking to Tina. The shop is magical and everyone is so nice and welcoming. If you ever get the chance, you NEED to go, or just plan a trip there. The town is interesting and your husband would probably enjoy exploring it. I’m now catching up with your videos, so please keep them coming.
OK - I have OFFICIALLY fallen in love with you both!! You bring me joy and laughter when I watch you. I just found you recently and watched your last (I think - you might have put up a new one since) video, and then I had to come back and start from the beginning to see where the "funness" began. Great video. My advice about your eyelets is what I tell anyone who wants to critique my work. "If you can do it better than knock yourself out". No one is going to stand there and go stitch by stitch and and determine if it is perfect. I learned that lesson when I started knitting. No one, but me, could pick out a blatant mistake. Those hearts would make cute little pillows in a basket or bowl.

Love the eyelet tutorial. The blanket stitch and cutting away is where I stop. I love to cut and wrap but just cannot finish. Congratulations on the beautiful finishes. Hi Jane and Julie, love your videos. Nice to see the hardanger. And Julie when I teach a hardanger class your book. Take the Hard out of Hardanger is one I recommend. I spent may years doing nothing but hardanger. It is such a relaxing art. Now I fell down the full coverage rabbit hole. I do tota.ly agree with you love the finer count fabric for hardanger. 32 being my favorite with 8 and 12 pearl. You talked about how to do eyelets. I found that I get neater more even eyelets if I start at 1 do every other hole clockwise, when I get back to 1, i go counterclockwise filling in the skipped holes. Hope that makes sense. I was planning to learn hardanger this summer, but I unexpectedly found a new job and that has been eating my time and energy for learning new things. But now that I found your flosstube channel, I hope to be encouraged to stop putting it off! I’ve never done any Shepherd’s Bush (don’t write me off yet!) but I’ve had Oh Beautiful on my mind/mental wishlist ever since I saw Leslie’s finish. I’m excited to see more from you two! Thank you, Catherine. I really don't think it gets much better than Hardanger and Shepherd's Bush. It's a perfect combo like burgers and fries. The linen is a 32 ct Neutral Parisian Stipe. Julie still has a couple of kits on her website that include the linen, the fibers, cotton crochet lace edging, painted wood block with the very cool vintage handle, and the foam core for mounting - and the charted pattern of course. Julie is so darn talented that sometimes I want to pinch her. LOL. We hope to see you again. - jane

Hi ladies , I found your new flosstube the other day and I was so excited to see you are doing Hardanger not to many ladies do it on here, I'm glad you are doing it along with cross stitch, I used to be scared of Hardanger cause of the cutting well there was 1 project I really wanted to do so I just bit the bullet (lol) and did it cutting an everything, since it was my 1st it didn't look that bad but could use some improvement, but I'm over my fear of the cutting part , you ladies are great and I will be watching from now on , thanks for your channel

Hi Kristine! I did say Grandma Nett. I lived with her for two years after my step grandpa Joe Nett passed away. This was in Freeport, MN.
Interesting! My husbands family grew up in Mankato and near Slayton. I don’t think that’s relation but it sure caught me off guard! Kinda cool.
