Oh Jane, thank you for thinking of others! When you talked about why you didn't want to show all of your new fabrics, on the last video, I wanted to hug you! So many you tubers don't think about how that might come across to those that might not be able to afford what they are gooshing about. I am at a good point in my life also, but I would feel the same way you did! In the same breath I will say this, you are at that point and you shouldn't feel bad about something you yourself have had to save for in the past. Oh boy did I enjoy this video - I’ve had a very busy few weeks so it took me awhile to find enough time to savor experience! Oh my word, both of you have such amazing finishes and WIPs. Jane - you really made lemonade out of that stain! Great job. I think I was “piplectic” watching that “piptastic” segment! Some absolutely gorgeous projects coming up for both of you. Jane - your humility is very humbling to me. I sometimes feel some flosstubers are just being excessive with some of their purchase ($100 scissors, etc.), but everyone is entitled to an occasional splurge. For magnification without wearing existing readers, I just wear magnifying readers that I get in packs of 3 - 5 from either Amazon, Sam's Club, or Costco. I have a variety of 1.5 - 2.75 strengths.

Dear Jane and Julie, another delightful video with bunny ears!! So funny....Julie, the Red Deer is fabulous, you must be thrilled. Jane, your Come Tarry is a thing of beauty. Thank you for your kind understanding of some of our situations where fabric is hard to get, arrives via shanks pony, and costs a great deal more than what you might pay for in your country. However, as a retiree, I remember when I was working I had the ability to buy whatever, but now, I have found contentment with what I have and pace my purchasing accordingly. The ol saying, cut your cloth to fit your pocket. 😊

Your fabric stash spending spree...I think it's great! My daughter came in to some money that she was not expecting and she bought things that she had been saving for a long time. She also used her monies to help support small businesses. Please don't feel bad. I rejoice when people are able to splurge.❤❤❤❤
It is so nice to see someone stitching Shepherds Bush design!!!!. I have loved them for SO many years and stitched so many of them...most of the ones that you showed . I recommend stitching the Gatherers...Herb, Sheep, and Toy. I have done them all and did the Toy Maker twice! I converted the Herb and Sheep to silks and they are beautiful. The designs and colors are so soothing. I also have stitched four of the project bags and they are very fun and useful. This was my first time watching you and I will watch regularly!!!!

Until recently I was one of those people, on a tight budget and having to save for one piece. but the tides changed and I'm slowly building a stash and doing more fun stitchy things. Also, I hope this isn't weird, but you really remind me of an old friend of mine. She passed away a few years ago and I miss her very much. We crafted together and worked together and I miss her. So it's comforting in a way. Thank you both so much, keep up the good work and passing on that wonderfully positive energy.

I had hand problems a few years ago. Ended up getting surgeries on them, then PT, and OT. NOW I can do this hobby love much better.
I love the two of you! So real ! And Jane, I feel exactly the same way as you do about sharing things you buy. I’m hesitant to show people also for the same reasons. I don’t want people to think I’m a spoiled brat or make them feel less than. I really understand!
