I need to really thank you I was messing around with the display not knowing what I was doing and my bike stopped working it wouldn't even go 5 miles an hour I had all these settings wrong I took this video and reset everything and now she purrs one think it was set at only 3 pas levels now I have it set to five than you very much

@@mostafamansour1099 you notice a difference in torque and speed , depending on your controller and cable from the fases(blue,yellow, and withe) check the cable thickness they might support 20-25amps, ir it's more than 30 amps they might burn the cable (in my case with the cables my ebike brought)

I have a 500w 36v kit but i have the same sw900 controller which is set to 12 amps also but 12x36 =432 watts. Should i just increase it to 14amps to get 504 watts? My battery is a 17ah battery if that makes any difference.

Turn the current setting up. Also shunt mod. Can get nearly 3000w out of a stock 1000w controller. Just be careful on hills. And don't stay at max throttle constantly. Once you get to max speed you can pin the throttle and no harm will happen. Because amp draw decreases significantly. It's when accelerating or climbing hills that you need to be careful how much current you draw. Can cook the motor or your controller adding solder to the shunts increases current. The more solder you add the more current you get. My display allowed me to set my current to 30 or 32a. I can't remember the exact number. Top speed of 35mph and 1400w constantly from a 1000w controller. Shunt modding allowed me to pull 2900w. I had to use an external watt meter. Once you add solder to the shunts the stock display no longer reads the watts/current accurately.
After the mod my top speed was closer to 45mph. 26 inch wheel. I'm actually repurposing an ebike motor to make a home made euc. Using a vesc controller. Im switching my ebike to a vesc controller as well. The flipsky 75100 aluminum pcb controller. Can do 20s at 100Amps. It also does field weakening and foc. Not a bad 120.00 investment.
Gears 1 to 4 I am able to pedal, but 5th is just way too fast. I mean 4th while I pedal is about 15mph, but than I put t in 5th and it's 23mph and i can't pedal that fast. How do I fix that?

Just because the brakes work doesn’t mean there’s a problem with the motor it could be that you need to calibrate the rear brake to the motor so that it will cutoff the motor when you brake
Harold...tried your system...my Rad City has only 4 options marked SEE 1,2,3,4. It only allows me to change tire size, top speed, illumination, and mph/km. Any experience with getting deeper into the programming of RAD specific controller/display. So frustrated by it turning odometer off when a brief stop happens... thx

Hey man, I upped the speed limit on my display, but I cannot figure out how to cut it on the controller. I have a hurley mini swell. The controller is built into the battery housing, and they dipped the computer chip, and wiring in a grey gel. I can't figure out what to cut

That's what I do and I guess many people do, Bonus of having a throttle :) I was spoilt with my last ebike, It had a yamaha mid drive which had zero cadence torque sensing - Power as soon as you touched on the peddles.. Hello, P6 is for tyre size. If I have 28 inch wheel do I have to add 1 inch for top and 1 inch bottom for tyre thickness? So the P6 setting should be 30

Whilst travelling whatever speed you want to set cruise to you simply hold (on sw900) the 'down' button for approx 5 seconds and then it will self cruise at this speed (until you touch/move either the throttle or you apply the brakes, then it goes back to normal)... Short answer - Hold 'down' for 5 seconds. My sw900 was purchased bought in 2024 on a Voilamart kit.

I can say that works only on specific controller and display. Some controller has password set up and even if you have password they programmed to have specific limit that will not make bike faster . Those setting are set for liability as some countries has restriction on max speed. I would not recommend to mess around as it can damage battery or motor and controller. Stay safe !

You could also maintain any throttle setting for 5 seconds and it will hold it there until you speed up or apply brakes.

Make the wheel size from 27.5 to 17 . And set the pas from 3 to 5 modes . After that you can ride 34 kmh :)

You don't need to pedal that fast, that's the whole point of assist.
The bike will still go the 23mph if you pedal slower

Not all bikes are the same. On this one we disconnected the blue wire. It just unplugs. Good luck!🚴

HOW DO I RESET MY Led DISPLAY, instead of my e-bike going 20mph it only goes up to 12mph.

No. Your speed indicator will be off. That setting is to calibrate the speedometer.
If u tell it your wheels are smaller than they actually are your bike will go faster.

No it's not weather proof. We have had issues with water getting into the sw900.

As you go through the settings you will see one called reset to factory settings.
